America has surely never experienced the high rate of drug abuse in today's Culture and the crime that usually accompanies it. At the present, drug abuse/dependency has been led into Family life, Education, and societal public on the whole.
Most drugs affect the central nervous system. Most drugs were discovered and made available for the sole purpose of treating people prescribed by their doctors, for pain associated with illness or injury. After a few years of testing and patient usage, many people began to notice effects of certain drugs... Thus, addiction was discovered, from there, many thought, "If I can get addicted, so can other people, now, if I can just get a lot of it and start selling it, I can make a large profit." This is how Satan works, folks! Make no mistake, the drugs aren't what started the problems we are seeing today! In the fallacious thinking of man, absent a relationship with and the guidance of the Lord, man chose to ruin not only his own life, but leading all those around him who aren't living according to God's Word into the same trap, Satan's trap of despair.
Many, hundreds, possibly thousands of family relationships have been broken, totally ruined because of the corrupted minds of few who made the wrong decisions.
Past Medical records and studies have proven, and have shown in women, that the active use of drugs during a pregnancy results in irretrievable damage to the innocent baby within her womb, and in most cases the baby is born mentally disabled, and sadly, many are still-born, how sad!!
The people who do this, are doing two things...
#1. They are destroying their own body--God's Temple!
#2. Destroying the lives of those around them, and that's ecspecially true for those women who are pregnant. If the baby dies? Then she commits Murder!!
The Lord's instruction is what is needed in this particular situation.
1 Corinthians 3:16--Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.
That is the message that needs to be heard across this Nation, folks!!
Where do we start? Our Youth!
Many schools today are experiencing drop-outs, low test grades, poor friendships, very negative peer pressure from other student body, not to mention the extreme physical aspect of his/her condition regarding their drug abuse. Young people who get involved in drugs usually don't realize the other factors and risks that go into play that are associated with their habit. Youth who develop drug addiction usually are pressured into becoming part of a "click" as they are called, or a Gang of other younger or older youth, but really not differing much in age class... These gangs usually group together for unlawful and antiSocial purposes, in essence setting themselves apart from the norm of society, thinking they are "above" the law. Many attain assault weaponry, and in turn, they become dangerous. Since most crime oriented gangs are not employed or have any responsibility, most, if not all of everything they have is purchased through the illegal sale of drugs, and in order to continue to sell drugs, they become theives and steal the valuable personal property of others to continue the illegal drug chain.
Now, how this all turns out in the end, is dependent upon how others and more specifically parents react to the facts!!
Can parents do something? You bet!!
What can parents do?
They can start by instructing their children in what the Word of Almighty God teaches, and paying active attention to the relationship between their child and the school they attend. As an example--Are their other children attending their child's school who use drugs? Could their child have possibly made any "friends" who use drugs? Could their child have possibly given in to peer pressue and taken drugs? In the National Survey for drug abuse, it says that 42% of high school Seniors nationwide are either actively using, or have taken drugs during their lifetime. Now keep in mind, that is 42% of the next generation, folks! That, in turn would be 42% of the entire population of America!!
This is an Individual battle, folks, every single person and parent needs to take a stand, and make an effort to become actively opposed to this plague on our society, especially within the political arena...many of your Loony Left-wing professors in your Loony Left- wing colleges and universities are actually teaching this stuff to YOUR, children! Teaching them that it's "OK to use a little drugs". Can you believe that? Yes, it's true, just check out some of the recent happenings at Boulder City High School in Colorado, and a number of others around the country who are brainwashing your children!!
So, just remember--It's an individual/personal matter that when people turn back to God, they each are contributing to a much needed cause collectively in order to change this Nation for the better!!
It's your call to action, not decision!! There is no choice in this matter, for this Nation's survival depends on your willingness to take a stand!!
