The Culture

Some like the culture, some dislike the culture...I guess one could say, however, there is more evidence in favor of opposing the culture than in favor. Our society (America's) has went from a fairly stable culture, to one that is more of a mixed-bag...it got started through the establishment of tolerance for differing cultures and lifestyles.

What is culture? We most often associate culture with certain type or branch of study as it pertains to different and individual subject matter, for example, bees (for which I can relate), which would translate into the hands-on study and propagation of different bee lines and their genetic makeup in order to improve the bee traits already within the bees for a more desirable outcome of traits being observed. In the sense in which we are talking about here, it is the cultivation of a particular form or stage of civilization.

Let's talk about changing cultures, and what are some things that have improved our culture and others that may have damaged it...starting with the improvements. Okay, we have better means of transportation, such as motor vehicles, trains, airplanes. We can travel much further distances at a faster pace than we could on horseback. Too, vehicles enable us to remain shielded from the harsh elements of the weather. These machines came about through the invention of the four-cycle engine/motor. We also have a large selection of tools in which to choose from, there are circular saws, table saws, miter saws for cutting angles, levels for getting vertical and horizontal as close as possible to perfect, squares for getting that ninety-degrees right on the mark, hammers in various sizes, shapes and weights made from steel that can be used for constructive or destructive purposes...such driving nails which is what we associate a claw and/or framing hammer and for pounding things into place so that they can be nailed to fit into alignment with the project being contructed, and we also have geological tools, which can be used to chip away rocks to find old artifacts or fossils hidden below the earth's surface in the layers of rock and soil. More advanced machinery for the do-it-yourself project and just everyday maintenance are the chainsaws for cutting and trimming trees with a range of sizes to choose from, tree surgery and logging are just two that come to mind. Then we have lawnmowers, which can have either two or four cycle engines attached, that are used to keep the grass around your home looking smooth and neat and not a hay field. There are also two cycle grass trimmers that can be used for cutting down the extra high grass around the edges of houses, walk and driveways and other structures where the grass can't be mowed over. Then we have roto-tillers, which are used for breaking the ground up into a finer consistency for planting a garden, or for leveling rough areas of ground that need smoothed out so that you won't trip on a high piece of dirt and so that it can be mowed over and maintained with the rest of the yard. It's just amazing at the number of inventions that have helped us to better cope, to survive in essence, in this rugged world. These things supply jobs to thousands of people from year to year, that without...would have no means of securing a future for themselves. Today, our levels of communication have been expanded such that there is hardly anywhere that we can't have some form of communication at our fingertips at all times and any location. Through the Internet, we have spanned the globe, such that we can reach even the most distant of relatives and loved-ones in foreign lands. Too, the Internet helps us to communicate and socialize with different people that we most likely would never have the opportunity to in-person. Like the hammer, however, all things can be used for either constructive or destructive, positive or negative, good or bad, basically right or wrong purposes.

I think that's what all really boils down to, when it comes to defining how our culture has been negatively or positively affected by change and mixing of cultures. It all depends on what you perceive right and wrong to be before you can accurately determine which is a good/positive, bad/negative direction for change. When we keep things in purity, and in their original state, they usually work quite well, but when mixing cultures, then that is just asking for a deadly recipe for disaster. We most often call a mixture of cultures, multiculturalism.

Study on that for now. More in a bit...

8:39 PM resume posting...

I guess the question then, what is the direction of multiculturalism? Well, first, what does it entail? American began as a Christian nation, all the Founders' and always will be, despite the liberal critics who redefine history to mean otherwise. The men who drafted and ratified our timeless Constitution, were the most honorable of Christians.

This is Benjamin F. Morris' view of the Founders of our Republic, who wrote The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States

First. The Christian inspirations and purpose of the founders and fathers of the republic.

It was a popular legend of the ancients, which gave to their laws, literature, and religion a sacred solemnity and power, that the founders of empires received immediate inspiration from the gods, and that their systems of government came from the responses of the deities who presided in their temples of religion. This myth, in a Christian sense, was a grain and glorious fact with the wise and skillful workmen who, under God, created and completed the civil institutions of the United States.

No claim to special inspiration from heaven is set up for the fathers of the republic. It would, however, be a violence to historic truth not to affirm and admit that they were under the special and constant guidance of an overruling Providence. The BIble, as the divine charter of their political rights, as well as of their hopes of immortality, they reverently studied, and on it laid the corner-stone of all their compacts and institutions. The Mosaic system of political jurisprudence, which "contains more consummate wisdom and common sense than all the legislators and political writers of the ancient nations," the founders of the Ameircan republic thoroughly understood, and incorporated its free spirit and democratic principles into their organic institutions.

Secondly. The Christian men who formed our civil insitutions were trained and prepared for their work in scenes of conflict in which the truest ideas of liberty and religion were developed.

Great ideas, and the forward movements of the ages, have received their inspiration and empetus from civil and religious agitations and revolutions. This fact has its analogy in the conflicts that preceded the planting of a Christian republic on the North American continent. "The whole of the sixteenth century was a period of active preparation for future times; and all that is great in modern science may be said to have received its founation in the agitations that grew out of that period of the world. It forms one of the grandest and richest eras in human history." Whilst it was an age re;lete with the most splendid triumphs in science and literature, it was pre-eminent, also, for its elaborations and vindication of the fundamental principles of civil and religious liberty.

The persecutions of the Puritans in England for non-conformity, and the religious agitations and conflicts in Germany by Luther, in Geneva by Calvin, and in Scotland by Knox, were the preparatory ordeals for qualifying Christian men for the work of establishing the civil institutions on the American continent. "God sifted," in these conflicts, "a whole nation, that he might send choice grain over into this wilderness;" and the blood and persecution of martyrs became the seed of both the church and the state.

It was in these schools of fiery trial that the founders of the American republic were educatd and prepared for their grand Christian mission, and in which their faitha nd characters became strong and earnest with Christian truth. They were educated and prepared for their grand Christian mission, and in which their faith and characters became strong and earnest with Christian truth. They were trained in stormy times, in order to prepare them to elaborate and establish the fundamental principles of civil and religious liberty and of just systems of civil government.

Brewster, and Winthrop, and Roger Williams, and Penn, and George Calvert, and Oglethorpe, and Otis, and Adams, and Jefferson, and Washington, with their illustrious co-laborers, could trace their true political parentage to Pym, and Hampden, and Wickliffe, and Milton, and Cromwell, and to the ages in which they vindicated the principles of liberty, and sealed, many of them their faith by martyrdom.

Thirdly. Thus inspired and prepared, the Christian men of Puritan times and of the Revolution presented and developed the true symbol of civil government.

So, that is, in essence, the men who inspired the break away from England to start a new beginning under the auspices of Our Creator, as they faced dangers at sea on their way to America.

From that point forward we see how America progressed through the lenses of great people at our founding such as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and everyone in between, all of which, solemnized America's institutions with their Christian Faith.

We seen this reliance upon God throughout the years that our Founders professedly and markedly stated within all of the State Constitutions and Bills of Rights, and that are still with us today. It was their wisdom, their virtue, their culture, that inspired the building of the greatest nation on earth. Why do we not see this magnitude of honor among our leaders today? In order to answer this question, we have to understand what would necessitate a change from the values of our Founding Fathers.

Fast forward roughly one and a half centuries, and in the early part of the 20th century, around the year 1940, there was a philosopher by the name of Herbert Marcuse (you can read about him on the Internet), who identified himself as a Marxist and Socialist, who also moved to America at that time, and then in the latter 1950s to early 1960s he began teaching school in our major colleges and universities, he taught political philosophy. It was shortly afterward that the student revolution broke out. Mr. Marcuse was one of several political minds influencing this radical departure from the foundation of the American Republic form of government and ideas, another one of them being Margaret Sanger, and then Madeline Murray O'Hair.

Those three being the main instigators, if you will. Marcuse attacking mainly capitalism, while Margaret Sanger and Madeline Murray O'Hair attacked the Bible and Christianity. In many ways, Margaret Sanger's incessant campaign for promiscuity led to the abolition of the Comstock laws, and then further in the early 1970s with the abolition of Obscenity laws, which banned pornographic or lewd and licentious speech in writing and literature. So, there was a victory for the devil through one woman's efforts right there. Imagine that? If only Christians today would work that hard to fight to win the battles for the Lord. At about the same time, Madeline Murray O'Hair took the Board of Education to suit all the way at the Federal U.S. Supreme Court to abolish the daily prayers and Bible readings that took place in our nation's schools. "Radical Feminism" might we say? I do believe so!

From those times forward, we have seen each succeeding generation being brainwashed with ever-more grotesque and Satanic ideology. Just recently, a man by the name of Kevin Jennings was nominated for position as Obama's "safe schools czar," you might have heard about him on Sean Hannity's daily evening show. You can read more about Kevin Jennings and his views here.
I guess it's safe to say that Kevin Jennings is not too safe for our schools. Other information pertaining to the same group can be found at the main MassResistance site here

We also must not exclude the acceptance of, and tolerance for Islamic teachings that has played a role in the process of our nation's diversification. The not so distant memories of September 11, 2001 come to mind when thinking about the prospects of our culture that is leaning ever more toward a complete hedonistic state, regardless of the dire consequences that are a direct result.

Shortly after the time period when Mr. Marcuse began teaching is, I am almost certain, when the term multiculturalism came on the scene, along with politically correct (or PC) terminology. Grafting, then establishing differing or deviant lifestyles and customs in the mainstream of society through efforts to abolish old precedent and law, and in with the new.

What we can gather from this, then, is that the goal or direction of multiculturalism is the effect that is to be had in a multiculturalist mindset of tolerance for the customs of differing backgrounds or cultures, for sexual orientation and then enforcing a code of political correctness that entails a "right to not be offended," in other words, everything is supposedly to be tolerated without reference to norms or precedent, such as the foundation of prayer and Bible reading that was established in our nation's schools with its hope and wisdom was forced out because one woman was offended, and to other things....like a cross by the side of the highway, if someone is offended by it, most usually a representative for the ACLU (Anti-Christian Lawyers Union) they seek a court order to have it removed, or if a college football team has prayer before their game-time asking God to keep them safe and keep them in good spirits, if an ACLU member sees them, they usually seek a court order to have the prayers stopped.

These are all things born of multiculturalist and politically correct ideology.

On another note, as Christians, we can tolerate differing cultures and lifestyles insofar as they exist, but not go so far as to agree with their terminology, or their practices, or their beliefs, but doing everything we can to correct the misunderstanding that such lifestyles, beliefs, customs or actions are "beneficial," or "helpful" to their longterm health and security in any way ... more importantly, the effects that their choices will have as it relates to their eternal state. Most former customs, that are even practiced to some degree today, were and still are idolatry, and some people might disagree and say "define idolatry?" The Bible (God's Holy Word) describes idolatry as the worship of the Creation rather than the Creator...Now what is the Creation? Everything that is within the bounds of the universe, mostly what we can see...which includes everything on this earth which are many, and then there are the other planets, i.e, the Sun, the Moon, the stars, and other constellations, planets, etc. Those all fall under idolatry when they are worshiped or held in high esteem. Scripture explains these things in Romans 1:22-23 - 'Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.'

That makes it pretty clear how God feels about nations that do not abide by His laws and principles, it is, in essence, the end of reason for that nation, and we find any belief in God and Jesus Christ is coming under increasing attack, and it is a much more subtle attack from the days of Madalyn Murray O'Hare, she just laid the groundwork for the atheists to come, because she was, in essence, creating an environment where millions of children would be left without hope and indoctrinated daily with the propaganda machines of atheists, and it (the ruling in favor of Madalyn Murray O'Hare) also paved the way for folks like Planned Parenthood to inject their eugenics beliefs, and anti-moral sex education programs, for the injection of anti-Capitalist thought and philosophy, for evolution which is opposed to the idea of belief in God with militant atheists leading the charge with books written by Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, and others ... all radical critics, and skeptics of the Christian faith. Our Educational Institutions have played the largest role in destroying this nation politically and philosophically, and who are the most vociferous proponents of multiculturalism as you can imagine, because it leads to the mixing up of cultures which leads to a polytheistic nation, which means "a belief in many gods," forcing the idea that all cultures are "equal" to each other, when in Wester Culture we know that not all cultures are ethically equal. God warned the people of Israel against mixing with the cultures of surrounding nations or countries because of the potential for ethical (not "ethnic") corruption or pollution...As believers, we are not to be bound with, or be company to unbelievers, for this would result in the turning away, or the wrath and judgment of Almighty God... so what does He ask of us that we might be spared His turning away?

He tells us in the book of 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

That verse goes along with what other parts of Scripture says about "loosing and binding" on heaven and earth where Jesus says in Matthew 18:18-20 - 'Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.' God wants our full attention, and to discipline ourselves and those who are in the Church body to remain steadfast in the truth. So, essentially, it means that if it is God's Will, and we ask it in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, He says He will hear and answer our prayer.

From this verse, we can see in the light of it why the Episcopal Church is crumbling at its foundation, moreover, we can see the need in the nation's churches as a whole returning to this fundamental Biblical doctrine of truth that Christ taught to His disciples, refraining from mixing secular doctrines with Biblical teachings.

So, it takes faith first and a humbling of oneself, then dedicating oneself to the calling that God has set in place for us, which does not preclude the nation, who must also do the same before God so that things can change for the better, and that is what we should want for our nation as a whole.

God bless you, and thank you for reading!

Obama's Pick for Deputy Attorney General

We want to extend a hardy thank you to Steven Groves of the Heritage Foundation for having the courage to stand up for this noble cause - In calling for the withdrawal of another one of Obama's criminal activist appointments. David Ogden is one known for representing Playboy, an organization that is devoted to the proliferation of pornographic material. Mr. Ogden is also an active proponent of infanticide.

Mr. Ogden is as deserving of his position as Barack Obama is the Presidency, and that would be exactly zero.

It's not so much their past, regardless of how ugly it may be, it is more so how they currently view things, which is very dangerous, to say the least. We can't allow their faulty, criminal-minded judgment to be a part of our justice system. This goes for many of the others who Obama has appointed, as well. People such as Hillary Clinton, who, is on much the same level as Nancy Pelosi, but is much more dangerous than Ms. Pelosi due to her intelligence. She is a very smart, evil, cunning woman.

Okay, if you have any thoughts regarding Obama's first two weeks of poor leadership, feel free to share them...

The Truth About Abortion - Result of A Reprobate Mind

Most people don't like to view bloodshed or violence, and for good reason, it creates fear in a person's mind, and the most often question asked is, why? Why did that have to happen?

Well, I've come to help you understand part of the answer. I'm going to try and make it short and to the point ...

First of all, there is never a call for bloodshed or violence, remember that before anything else.

Secondly, the reason there is bloodshed and violence, is because of sin.

Bloodshed, which is murder, is defined as one of many sins, but they are all equal. God never raises or lowers His standard on what constitutes as sin.

Now, you may have noticed, that bloodshed and violence have become more prevalent in America today - And why is this?

Mainly because, God's people (as in those who profess to have faith in God) chose to compromise with the devil. What do you mean? God's people chose to agree with socialists, which are atheists, who choose to define the value of life from a humanist viewpoint ... which is, in essence, Satan's view. Abortion is Satan's goal for all human beings, as he places most influence on the flesh. Anything like death, suffering, pain, lust, depression and so forth, are a result of giving Satan control over ones mind and body. When these things are present in ones life for so long, then ones heart continues to harden, or, as the Apostle Paul writes in Romans 1:21 "their foolish hearts became darkened" then God turns them over to a reprobate mind. What does "reprobate" mean? Well, there are several different definitions, but all consist of mainly the same thing. So, what is it? Reprobate means 'foreordained to damnation': CONDEMNED: morally abandoned. How do we know if someone is reprobate? It is hard to say for some folks, but for not so for others. For those of us who can still recognize evil for what it is, and have an understanding of what God's Word teaches, we have that hope that the reprobate person does not have - one of the easiest ways to recognize a reprobate mind, is by watching the life of one whom we might consider to be a "friend" who at one time had an interest in the Lord, reading their Bible and going to church on a regular basis, but then we start to notice changes in their behavior - We might notice something in their life that is not consistent with the Scriptures and we feel the need to reprove, or correct them with Scriptures (which is the only feasible method), and we notice that they start to shy away from it, don't give an answer, shrug their shoulders or something to that effect, and the next time we share God's Word with them, they become angry with it, but still want to be friends, but as we continue this friendship, our friend comes out and says, "I don't want to hear it anymore, if you're going to mention God and Jesus and the Bible to me again, I don't want to be friends anymore. I feel fine the way I am, and I think God is okay with what I'm doing." In effect, doing the very thing that God warned against, calling evil "good", and good "evil." It's at this point, when they do not want to live according to God's Word, that He has withdrawn His Holy Spirit from holding on to them, in effect, abandoning them. A very tragic situation, indeed! Often times, however, many will regret what they've done, after they finally realize what a mistake it was for them to reject God's calling through those who tried to be an example, and light for them in their darkest hours, but whenever God withdraws His Spirit from calling them any further, the small things that they were drawn into, lead to more and more repulsive things, and eventually, the very evil things, the things we talked about earlier, bloodshed and violence.

The really sad part about all of this, is that our legislators, lawmakers and Congress people are all encouraging sin, and thus, leading hundreds of thousands into the reprobate mind; and more every day. People have no sense of right and wrong, because they have no control over their thoughts and actions, due to allowing Satan complete right-of-way over their thinking and whole way of life.

Abortion is one among the many things, in our society today, that is a result of what we term as - The Reprobate Mind.

Next, I want you to take a few moments, and watch a video that shows us the realities behind the mentality that our legislators and Congress people are not only condoning but perpetrating. A note of warning - A strong stomach is needed.

If this in any way disgusts you, or turns you away in horror; then maybe we shouldn't be tolerating it in our society.

Time To Stand For Life!

There was once upon a time in America's history when we regarded life and all it's worth. Now, however, it seems we face a totally different era, one in which we are being relegated down to less than human, less than worthy of the life we have been given by our most gracious Creator!

MOst common sense folks, with some grasp of morality about them appeal to a more common sense approach that adds worth and dignity to life and thus, feel a need to give all the support and love that life is due.

On the other hand, we find on the leftward spectrum of the issue ... that Democrats want to inject a pradoxical scenario into the issue.

Take these two example which are used to place doubt on life as a means to exploit and destroy it; the first comes from the Parkinson's Information Exchange Network; in an attempt to use science as their source justification for exploitation and thus, destroying life:

This is not just good news for a cure, it's good news for those of us who wish to remove the political stumbling blocks from researchers struggling to bring about a cure. The political message here dominates, and that is exactly what we need in the press; and all the media for that matter. Let's milk this one for everything it's worth - our lives!

The second example; and probably the leading argument used to justify the murder of unborn children:

That being? The health of the mother. With a huge ? mark afterwards ... mostly for the fact...what makes it such an issue? First, however, we'll go over the scientific argument as to why scientists feel human life should be used in such a fashion that devalues it for the sake of other lives.

Embryonic Stem-Cell Research - The Not-So-Positive Side

Well, as it turns out, the "science" that the stem-cell researchers, was not so "great", turning out to be one of the biggest blunders ever, in scientific history, and maybe if they would have thought back, the atom bomb wasn't such a great idea either ... Nah, just kidding, the atom bomb could safe a much larger catastrophe some not-so-sweet day! To get back on the subject at hand - The problem, with the stem-cell research, however, being that the "stem-cells", which actually weren't stem-cells at all, but were tissue directly from aborted embryos (first stages of human life) had grown all too well, and emitted so much dopamine that labratory test rats that were being used to test the embryonic cells with "jerked uncontrollably"; to the point that normal function was impaired! Even worse, there was no way to remove or deactivate the newly transplanted cells.

So, revealing the motive behind the left-wing agenda in pursuit of a cure for parkinson's disease, shows us that they were positively motivated in one respect, but negative on the other. Their optimism was driven to find a cure for this dabilitating disease, but to the contrary, the base motive stemmed from a lack of regard for the inncence of the unborn that they conveniently, and in a most unfortunate way for the unborn, exploited for the lives that had already been spared the torment and death of the abortionists hands.

The brutality of the left-wing death-march extends not only to the under-developed child, but also to those soon outside of the womb (Read: "Freedom of Choice Act" - soon to be signed into law by President Elect Obama). Can't you just picture in your mind, girls; man of them still in their teenage years, marching to the beat of Planned Parenthoods death chants, to allow their tender little unborn children to be butchered, and in many ways tortured to their untimely deaths, with sharp needles being thrust into their little bodies, and poison injected into their little brains...

Folks, it takes some pretty cruel, heartless, sick people, to uphold this abhorrent barbarism of the most evil sort. We truly live in a society controlled by Satan's demonic forces.

The Life Of The Mother - Both Sides Speak For Themselves

I think this is where the interjection of the supposed paradox lies. As far as the health of the mother is concerned - Any normal thinking person, I think, would agree; that, as history has shown, that to conceive of, bear, and rear children ... is, always been, and always will be the ultimate purpose of the female human being -'male and female He created them' - Thousands of years are supportive of this fact, and to somehow try to reuce the meaning and worth of life after all this time, I mean, we didn't get as far as we have in America because too many in our society, most notably leftists-Democrats view life as some "blob-of-cells", no, we didn't get as far as we have because of some dumb Left-Wing!!! Leftists, for the most part, haven't done anything noteworthy merit to help our country succeed, the two exceptions being those before our era of the ACLU infiltration, and secondly, those today who actually work for their families living and contribute to society enough to consider them industrious thrivers. Today, the Democratic party is all about the government taking from those who've earned their livings and giving their hard earned money to the supposed "poor". Imagine that? Almost like Robin-hood, eh? I'd say!

We, as America, gained a foothold in the world because we gave life the dignity that it duely deserves!

In addition, one little know fact that most liberals (Communists) probably don't want you to know, that I'll let you in on, is that, we (America - The Freedom REPUBLIC), and our ancestors (consequently Coservatives) LAWS cherished life, in its most beautiful form - As a child in the womb, in this country before 1973, not because of some political "ploy". No, not at all!!

We held life in high esteem in this country as Christians ought too!! In fact, our laws reflected the Godly-sentiments that bound our Nation together!

It was not until some "liberal" (socialist whack-job) judge came along, that the foundations of our once strong Christian Republic would be undermined and America, thus, weakened.

Today, we face enormous challenges in the fight to preserve the sanctity of precious unborn life, babies sleeping content in their mothers wombs.

Barack Hussein Obama, our recently Elected President, has pledged to cater to the demands of the extreme-left loons in his constituency or cabinet, many of which have championed legislation that would seek to filter out any indication that life be considered worth more than the fate that innocent unborn children would receive at the hands of cold-blooded, bloody & brutal abortion "doctors". Some doctors, eh? Yeah, more like the Ted Bundy's and Charles Mansons of the world being given government jobs! Geez!

The nightmare turned real - Barack Hussein Obama - Hitler Re-born, and about to be Re-lived!

Why War?

Folks often wonder why war is necessary, why there is so much blood-shed, and how it can be avoided. Well, I’ve come today to give the reasons I see as would be necessary and just-worthy cause to lead a nation or nations to war. I may not be able to settle all the answers, but perhaps, at very least, enough to solve a few un-answered questions that some might have regarding the necessities for it, and how we might avoid it.

The first point I want to emphasize with regards to why wars are begun and I cannot stress this enough – War has its beginnings, or roots rather, from the beginning of time, it is traced back to the first man Adam who by his transgressing against the all-powerful authority of Almighty God, cursed all mankind down through the ages, which is our inheritance from age to age, and therefore, it is a struggle between ideology (fleshly desires/man’s ideas), and/or spiritual differences. Thus, we have those who desire oppression and those who desire Liberty, in essence, the more wholesome word we use as Americans, Freedom.

The Bible is an inexhaustible source of truth that will lead us to numerous wars that took place during that particular era of time, in which the evils that pervaded societies, called for some sort of action be taken to restore humility and justice, so that those societies could be freed from the shackles of despair which entangled them. For example – In the book of Joshua, chapter 6, we find Joshua led an army consisting of the Israelites. Now, before I comment any further regarding this war that Joshua set out to do, these were God’s commands given to Joshua and his army by way of angelic revelation, Commander of the Lord’s army. This particular battle was the battle at Jericho…What were the people of Jericho doing that would warrant war to overtake them? Quite succinctly, because they were worshipping false idols, that led them to do evil things. In order to have a better understanding of this, we must start in Exodus and read through to the book of Joshua, which is the time of Moses until God gives Joshua Moses’ inheritance and beyond. This was during the time period when God had set His Laws and commands in place and anyone that broke those laws and chose to defy God would be overtaken. From the time of Adam man set out to do things in his own manner, choosing to do things that were displeasing to God, such as Pharaoh who held God’s people in bondage, and God commanded Aaron to meet Moses in the wilderness so that Moses could tell Aaron the word of the Lord and all the signs which he had commanded him. In the instance of Pharaoh God did not command an army, but struck Egypt with plagues.

So, why did these conflicts arise that called for the destruction of these places? The question can be answered in that, even though God loved mankind enough to give him a home here on earth … through free will, man used his sense of choice to work toward goals opposite from the goals which God had in mind for them to do, which was to uplift and glorify Him in all they done, so that they could be blessed in everything. It’s really not so simply stated if you look at it in the context from which we gain standards of morality and hope from, in our everyday lives, those standards can only be met when one acknowledges that a Higher Power works to the benefit of the individual.

When we forsake our guidance in Almighty God and follow the desires of the flesh, in whatever way the flesh leads us, we wonder about in all different directions, and our mind has nothing that conforms to the ideals of humility and kindness to lead us in the way we should go, and therefore, un-necessary oppression and suffering occur. Why? Because the oppressors which are guided by their own vices, who don’t believe in a Higher Power are driven by a sense of superiority to the rest of mankind, who has feelings that the oppressor does not wish to take into consideration…In other words, there is no sense of right or wrong in the individual who does not acknowledge their source of hope.

All down through the ages, through Biblical times which we were graciously afforded a record of the ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’ per se, we have the opportunity to learn from former generations, where by events that unfolded, we learn that people purposely made the mistake of thinking that they could subjugate (Power by force) their own Nation of people into a set agenda or ideology that granted them control over the masses by human dictatorship. We often call this form of rule today, as – Socialism. Socialism is a similar type of system that was found during Pharaoh’s time of rule, in which the peoples’ reliance was solely in the State to provide their needs for survival, it must be stressed that in this form of rule it is always dependent upon the dictates of the State whether the people prospered or failed. However, as history has proven, in all cases where Socialism was the rule, no nation of people has ever been happy within its cold grips. It is then noted that the peoples cry for mercy is as if they were never heard, being, in essence, silenced, to suffer at the hands of the State, whom, by their own judgment, deem the quantity of their inheritance absolute, therefore, not in any certain terms guaranteeing prosperity for their people, but in most cases, we’ve learned that the State prospers with great abundance, leaving their people deprived of their rights to Liberty and ownership of property, without suffrage (right of decision).

This horrible injustice can be found in the not so distant annals of world history, a man who is known the world over for his reign as the most brutal dictator along with two others of similar ideology, Stalin and Lenin. Adolph Hitler, not only took the rights of property away, he took his ideology into a murderous rage, as being responsible for the deaths of over 11 million Jews – We know this injustice as the Holocaust.

It’s the ideologies of people like Hitler and Stalin that lead to war, because not only are property rights on the line, but life and limb also, in the struggle to preserve your life. You see, to understand why an injustice like Hitler’s despotic rule can…It all goes back as I mentioned earlier to the afore-mentioned account of original sin when mankind through free-will (free-will is the key phrase here), made the [choice], as choice is what defines free-will, chose to disregard a power greater than himself, a Power that rules the entire earth and universe. No man has authority on earth, no man. We are placed on earth, and appointed to do God’s Will … you see, this is where Hitler proved he had no regard or respect for this Higher Authority over him, and likewise those who followed him and carried out his insane orders.

Don’t you see the link here? Any Nation or Nations that do not submit to a Higher Authority, chaos becomes as a result of that Nation.

I have no authority, and it’s not what I think that is best for the world, but the One who has the power over me.

People who wage war are those who seek to defend their Liberty from oppressors like Hitler, and likewise, to free those who are under Hitler’s tyrannizing forces, and for those who work to this end, God’s Mighty right hand is working on their behalf. Why? Because they seek to do what He desires from His position as truth for all ages, and not what “they” want, personally…and for people to be what? To have freedom, and to understand that He is their peace that they had longed for so desperately when they needed Him the most. God wants our attention. He is needed in every step of progress that we take in the world. He is our only progress. He governs/rules the world, not us.

Finally, yes, war is sometimes inevitable, but it can be avoided. How? To recognize that God does not want us to aimlessly kill for “convenience” or because someone was considered “inconvenient” to us, no, we are to cherish every single life, no matter how great or small, we all have a place in this world, and that place is to glorify and uplift Jesus Christ Our Lord.

If need be, and conflict should arise out of the misunderstanding that some hold as their “right” to seek do unjust acts of barbarism then I believe God would want us to do everything necessary to defeat this enemy.

I leave you with this...

War, like other evils, is often wholesome. The waters that stagnate corrupt; the storm that works the ocean into rage renders it salutary; heaven has given us nothing unmixed; the rose is not without its thorn. War calls forth the great virtues and efforts which would sleep in the gentle bosom of Peace.

God bless!

Turning The Tide

We've come to a time in our nation that we must think with all seriousness as to where our nation has come and where it is headed. I hear so much, not just on the national news media but from friends and colleagues of the situation we are now facing in America. And to be quite honest, it’s very disturbing. We seem to be in a conflict with the left and the right, the socialized thinkers and the conservative minded.

We have our political pundits calling for change and we have voters from one end of our shore to the other thinking, "Oh yes, we need change", not realizing and understanding the vapor of the speech and the void created by such mindless rhetoric.

We have more people concerned about having two cars in the garage and High Definition TVs in every room than we are about who is being placed on our United States Supreme Court. Americans have an opinion about everything they know which seems to be very little when it boils down to the facts and figures. Instead of listening to common sense and sound judgment on the Economy, The War, The Environment, they want to put every breath and every illogical words on such issues facing America but when faced with true reality, for instance; moral issues that will affect this nation for decades to come they cover their eyes, they put their heads down, they hide their heads in the sand, and say "Oh don't talk about that, don't mix government with religion, etc."

So the predicament that's facing America is the real issue that so plagued many nations before us, and it was their eternal downfall which many never recovered.
We now have politicians spending billions on pork projects "ask the king of pork, Mr. Byrd, and Mr. Murtha," And we the American people sit back and say to ourselves, "well if they don't get it for their districts someone else will", how foolish and harming to a nation that's riddled in debt and facing many, many problems abroad as well as internal.

We have politicians who want a "robin hood" style of charity, and this my friend will drive us even deeper and deeper into debt, frustration, and finally despair., and mind you that's only a few of the issues.

The major and I think most important issue facing America is the areas of Morality, Home Issues and I saved the "Most Important Issue for last"., our Judeo Christian Concepts and beliefs that founded and sustained this great country from its inception and has guided and led our forefathers through great peril, through bloody wars, through natural disasters, and personal conflicts.

So where do we go from here you ask? One thing is for certain and I must say it is for those who claim this very last issue I noted and that is for us to stand for the Judeo Christian Faith, Pray for our leaders, and stand when adversity seems to be crumbling our very strengths and accomplishments.

Many are against our Judeo Christian foundation and would love to see our nation rid itself of the Commandments, Rid our nation of All Sacred Monuments, Sacred Words embedded from tombstones in the rural neighborhoods to our once sacred halls of Congress, We have organizations like the ACLU, The NAMBLA, the NOW, and some other organizations on the rise and marching to their own proclaimed ideologies. But we as an American people must turn back to the foundational beliefs, and begin to take courage and heart and I think most importantly stand for the truth, not dismissing the fallacies of these groups, but stand for what's right in the midst of their pursuits of bringing our nation further from this Judeo Christian Belief.

Many will say, "You're mad and contain your beliefs in a box, and other ridiculous statements that would defer and diminish the realities we now face. We must stand "against their anger and resentment, we must voice our opinions loud and strong but most of all we must show others that we stand for what is Right and what is Truth and we know that shall prevail in the end.

We wonder why our children are in dismay and bewildered and don't know between right and wrong, Well its because many parents don't know between the two themselves and they have failed in the home life by not teaching and taking the time to sit and show their love, their devotion and the moral attributes that hold the family "male to female" together. We live in a society that has become rampantly angered but yet want to blame the government on their own demise and their own stinging predicaments.

We have politicians that blame the "man living under the bridge" on the Commander in Chief and then make off the wall statements on the woes of our nation. How shameful that even our own "so called" leaders can't see beyond their own noses on these related issues that so plague our society.

We have political leaders that run rampant in our nation’s course and subject their own ideas and agendas beyond each other, especially in the time of war. So these same leaders are going to foreign lands meeting behind closed doors with those we suspiciously suspect of aiding and abetting, and I remind you it’s against our own national policy and general rule. How utterly shameful for those who think in this regard and push these actions upon others thereby bringing our own people under threat and our men and women who tirelessly stand tall and bold in the midst of the battle.

Yes on a final note, we are in the midst of battles, and these are battles of great fortitude and can only be won by the faithfulness of those who want freedom, those who love the democracy and those who want to be free and most if not the most important those who want America to win. If you don't want these final things, then continue to cover your eyes, bury your head in the sands, and ignore the truth, but it only allows the problems to approach with more intensity and greater reality.

God bless America and May He Have Mercy on us all. For it’s only ‘The Truth,’ that shall set us free". (Cross posted at Conservatives For Christ)
