President Bush's Farewell Speech

President Bush says farewell to his duties as America's Commander-in-Chief. Here is a transcript of the address from Fox News:

Tonight, with a thankful heart, I have asked for a final opportunity to share some thoughts on the journey we have traveled together and the future of our nation.

Five days from now, the world will witness the vitality of American democracy. In a tradition dating back to our founding, the presidency will pass to a successor chosen by you, the American people. Standing on the steps of the Capitol will be a man whose history reflects the enduring promise of our land.

This is a moment of hope and pride for our whole nation. And I join all Americans in offering best wishes to President-elect Obama, his wife, Michelle, and their two beautiful girls.

Tonight, I am filled with gratitude to Vice President Cheney and members of the administration; to Laura, who brought joy to this house and love to my life; to our wonderful daughters, Barbara and Jenna; to my parents, whose examples have provided strength for a lifetime.

And above all, I thank the American people for the trust you have given me. I thank you for the prayers that have lifted my spirits. And I thank you for the countless acts of courage, generosity and grace that I have witnessed these past eight years.

This evening, my thoughts return to the first night I addressed you from this house, September 11, 2001. That morning, terrorists took nearly 3,000 lives in the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor.

I remember standing in the rubble of the World Trade Center three days later, surrounded by rescuers who had been working around the clock. I remember talking to brave souls who charged through smoke- filled corridors at the Pentagon and to husbands and wives whose loved ones became heroes aboard Flight 93.

I remember Arlene Howard, who gave me her fallen son's police shield as a reminder of all that was lost. And I still carry his badge.

As the years passed, most Americans were able to return to life much as it had been before 9/11. But I never did. Every morning, I received a briefing on the threats to our nation. And I vowed to do everything in my power to keep us safe.

Over the past seven years, a new Department of Homeland Security has been created. The military, the intelligence community, and the FBI have been transformed. Our nation is equipped with new tools to monitor the terrorists' movements, freeze their finances, and break up their plots.

And with strong allies at our side, we have taken the fight to the terrorists and those who support them. Afghanistan has gone from a nation where the Taliban harbored Al Qaeda and stoned women in the streets to a young democracy that is fighting terror and encouraging girls to go to school.


History, no doubt, will prove that George W. Bush was one of the greatest leaders of our time. Although many on the left, and the pundits creating the polls will cast him as "unfavorable", they have something to learn, and learn they will over the next four years. America, for the most part, has something to learn over the next few years as we move forward!

May we all be thankful for the courageous leader we had in George W. Bush, our 43rd President.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi uttered the following remarks today about President Bush:

"You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject,"


Welll, God bless you too, Ms. Piglosi, for extending such kind and thoughtful generosities to our Greatest Leader President George W. Bush.

And just to extend the the kind thoughts in return...what a miserable failure you've been too, Madam Piglosi.

A lesson received is a lesson learned....if anyone ever tells you that Democrats are "bi-partisan".....Don't believe them.

No Vote!

Well, it looks like one voter's going to sit it out, this year, folks. As I'm sure many more will, and Dr. James Dobson is one of them.

I have decided in a motion, for the best interests of my party to not cast my ballot this fall. In consideration of the current crop of candidates and their records in many more ways than one as unsupportive of Traditional Conservative values; I cannot go against the principles as are customary and true to the Christian Conservative base of the Republican party. Many people have said they are willing to compromise, and move toward McCain because he is the lesser of two evils. Compromise is good when you've got good candidates on the ballot, but not good at all when a larger percentage of the the voter block, favors a candidate whom injects across party lines, corrupt and anti-moral, anti-life agendas into the fold. God would not be pleased with me if I were to go against what He teaches me I ought to do.

I know, I know, I've said that McCain is the best we've got, if he's the only one left in the race, but the more I find about him, the more I dislike his character and agenda. I was one step away from voting for the man just a few days ago, but now that I know what he stands for...there's just absolutely no way. I'll just wait until someone of more promise steps up to the plate.

There's still a chance that things could change in the next month, and governor Huckabee could pull some support, and if he does, however unlikely that is, but if he does, then my ballot will go henceforth accordingly.

America's in a fix, folks. If there was some way that I could get Huckabee the nomination, I would, but with the odds stacked against you in the millions of percentages, there's not much you can do...except pray, that's what I intend to do, and that's what I encourage all of you to do, too.

How Conservative is McCain?

So far, we've got John McCain in the lead for the GOP at this point in time, however, seems like the odds were turned against him in last night's debate, because of the stance he takes on taxes, he says he wants to make it a "class warfare" stance in favor of the rich elite! WOW! Can you say, "Liberal," ladies and gents?
On illegal immigration, his was pro-amnesty, and allowing our borders to be flooded with the millions upon millions who are already here illegaly and subjecting our children to the already enormous damage that has been done. He is also against interrogation, and getting the information we need to ensure that justice is served before our enemies get another chance to attack the Homeland. On his good points - he's pro-life - by protecting the innocent life in the womb. He has a very strong record of acheivment within the military field, in which he could mount a good offensive strategy in the War on Terror. Those are the only two good points about him, really. Other than that, I really don't know what all else to say about the man, except that he's a Liberal. He can't really be classified as a Liberal Conservative, because then that wouldn't make it a fair statement. This all really gave me an idea just a bit ago when I thought it through, after hearing what Dick Morris had to say about this election cycle. Of course, I had it a little differently other than the fact that he stated the obvious, when he said, "the GOP is in division right now, due to some folks who have made bad names for themselves while still under the name tag of "Republican/Conservative." They aren't republican if that's what they stand for. We can see that the overall electorate is moving left, because people are voting for John McCain, while John isn't entirely "Liberal," he still has some Conservative qualities in him on the side of life. Life is a very big issue, make no mistake about it, but when combined with three-hundred million people, and the vast majority of those three-hundred million people trying to make a living for themselves and their families, the last thing we need is a Liberal to take over the White House. I had first thought after a considerable contemplation of the matter, that Mr. McCain would make a good choice as last resort, but upon further review of his policies, I don't think I want him as our President, he would be kind of dangerous in a way, in a way much the same as Hillary or any of the Democrats would be. We still have a ways to go yet though, with Super Tuesday just five days away, there are a lot of delegates to be taken still, and a lot of support for each individual candidate will be garnered from their respective state sponsors, as I'm sure McCain will take many Liberal Western states, while Mike Huckabee (whom I am hoping very much will win) will take a few of the mid-western, and southern bible-belt regions of the South, Mitt Romney will take a few eastern, mid-western, and northeastern states. It's anyone's guess from now until Tuesday, but I think it goes well beyond next Tuesday, I think Mike Huckabee will iron things out for the betterment of America in the weeks ahead -While he's at it, give him some support, donate a little bit to his campaign...Mr. Huckabee is a great Christian man, who would bring America back together again, and would be twiced as much better than anybody on the Democrat side.

What Does It Take To Be President...Or...(POTUS)?

Over the course of more than five-hundred years since our Nation's founding, Presidents have come and gone ... some have led honorably, and some, not so "honorably," according to what each person(s) ideals and standards were during the period of time, and under what President held power in their respective generations...and too, the particular circumstances that helped to guide their decision making as to who they wanted to lead the Nation at that particular time. For some it was Abraham Lincoln. Why Abraham Lincoln?

In 1858, at the close of the Illinois Republican convention, when he was nominated to oppose Stephen Douglas in the coming election for U.S. Senator, Abraham Linclon gave his famous speech - "A house divided against itself cannot stand." Lincoln strongly criticized Douglas for the role he played in the gains that the slave states had acheived since the Compromise in 1850. In particular - The Nabraska-Kansas Act - which was a repeal of the Missouri Compromise of 1820. These were territorial disputes, and for the advancing of the railroad, and also, on the debating of whether to continue slavery, which was a customary practice in that day, for a prolonged period of time...and, as we shall see, this is why Abraham Lincoln, not merely for his own personal gain in becoming Senator, but had the God-fearing honesty, decency and dignity, to step to the forefront, and lead us out of this sadistic debaucher three years later, when he took his oath of office in 1861, and with it, would come much heartache and tears - Th worst and bloodiest battle in all of American history - The Civil War. On March 4, 1861 - Abraham Lincoln gave his first inaugral speech, pleading with the South to remain with the Union, he did not want to take action militarily against the South for fear of pushing other states out of the Union. He sought to find middle ground. 18 months later, on September 22, 1862, The battle, the single most bloody day of the war, gave Lincoln the opportunity to make the greatest speech in all of American history - The Emancipation Proclamation which gave blessed freedom to slaves in all the states in rebellion. These are some of his words -
And, by virtue of the power and for the purpose aforesaid, I do order and declare that all persons held as slaves within said designated states and parts of state are, and henceforward shall be, free; and that the executive government of the United States, including the military and naval authorities thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of said persons.

What a wonderful day it must have been, for millions upon millions, with tears of despair, replaced with tears of hope and effervescent joy, overflowing.
What kind of President was Abraham Lincoln? With his re-elction, in his second inaugral address, he provides us with the answer to that question...here's a few paragraphs from that address-
American Slavery is one of those offenses which, in the providence of God, must needs come, but which, having continued through His appointed time, He now will to remove, and that He gives to both North and South, this terrible war, as the woe due to those by whom the offense came, shall we discern therein any departure from those divine attributes which the believers in a Living God always ascribe to Him? Fondly do we hope--fervently do we pray--that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it continue, until all the wealth plied by the bondsman's two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash, shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said, "the judgments of the Lord, are true and righteous altogether." With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds; to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan--to do all which may achieve and cherish a just, and a lasting peace, among ourselves, and with all nations.
What kind of man was Lincoln? A God-fearing Christian man! One of the most common arguments you hear coming from modern Secular skeptics these days is that, Christianity and the bible "support" slavery. What does the bible say? Were they treated like slaves were in the 1800s? Leviticus gives us some incite...Leviticus 25:53 - He is to be treated as a man hired from year to year; you must see to it that his owner does not rule over him ruthlessly. Hmmmm...Let's see, they got paid, were given plenty to eat, a place to sleep, they went to church (as was required by God), so forth and so on. Doesn't sound to me like cruelty or mis-treatment, but of servants of their own free will, willing to work, so they could survive, Unike today, with government spending on special treatment and entitlement programs, which translates into tyranny by judges.

Abraham Lincoln provided us with perhaps, the perfect role model for all Presidents, for all time to come, because he stood for? For freedom, and he realized that all of man's rights are from God, and that any civil body politic enacting any civil law that went against what God's Law says, isn't law, is tyranny, and must be overthrown. That's why slavery was defeated, it was the free and civil, God-fearing men and women, like Abraham Lincoln who believed in, and stood for freedom, who defied all odds for the freedom of America.The same goes for today, in far distant lands, many people and walks of life have zero freedoms to the desires atheist Communists, Iran is one of them, whose leaders are radical extremist oppressing their people so longing for freedom...but through the bravery and trust in Almighty God, they will see their freedom some sweet day, and the chords of tyranny will be broken!

Can America maintain freedom? With another Presidential election fast approaching, we must make a new decision for the future, just like Abraham Lincoln did a hundred and forty-seven years ago to ensure our future!

State Of The Union

President Bush is scheduled to give his last State of the Union address at approximately 8:55 pm tonight. I'm hearing reports that he will concentrate primarily on earmark feform, and asking Congress to pass a tax relief, or stimulus package for the future, due to a sagging economy. Some have been reporting that Feds will make another 0.5% rate cut within the next couple days. How this all plays out, it's anyones guess, but there are definitely concerns mounting in regards to the economy. Hopefully things will work out and the stimulus package will help get things back to business as usual.

Other than the economy, I'd say President Bush will sum up his last State of the Union as a farewell to all in this great land that he appreciates so much, and doing what he could to keep America free.

It was a great honor to have you as our 43rd President, the Greatest President in U.S. History - President George W. Bush.

Comparisons!

Air Force #1 & it's passengers...a must read, folks! YOU WILL FIND THE SECRET SERVICE VIEWS ON THE PERSONALITIES OF PAST PRESIDENTS TO BE QUITE INTERESTING. For those who don't know... Capt. Denny Keast flies for UAL and flew many SAM's (Special Air Mission's) for the White House. ********************************************************
I flew 4 Presidential support missions in the C-141 out of Dover AFB, DE.. Two for President Johnson and two for President Nixon. Johnson was a first class jerk and on the two occasions I flew for him, if the Secret Service and their Liaison in the Pentagon hadn't intervened, we would have had to stay on the airplane for hours while he (Johnson) was off somewhere. Nix on never required that and the four (4) stops we made with him he was cordial to the Secret Service and to me and my crew. We had a neighbor when I lived in DC who was part of the secret service presidential detail for many years. His stories of Kennedy and Johnson were the same as those I heard from the guys who flew the presidents' plane, Yes, Kennedy did have Marilyn Monroe flown in for secret "dates," and LBJ was a typical Texas "good ole boy" womanizer. Nixon, Bush 41, and Carter never cheated on their wives. Clinton cheated, but couldn't match Kennedy or LBJ in style or variety. The information below is accurate: The elder Bush and current president Bush make it a point to thank and take care of the air crews who fly them around. When the president flies, there are several planes that also go, one carries the armored limo, another the security detail, plus usually a press aircraft. Both B ushes made it a point to stay home on holidays, so the Air Force and security people could have a day with their families. Hillary Clinton was arrogant and orally abusive to her security detail. She forbade her daughter, Chelsea, from exchanging pleasantries with them. Sometimes Chelsea, miffed at her mother's obvious conceit and mean spiritedness, ignored her demands and exchanged pleasantries regardless, but never in her mother's presence. Chelsea really was a nice, kindhearted, and lovely young lady. The consensus opinion was that Chelsea loved her Mom but did not like her. Hillary Clinton was continuously rude and abrasive to those who were charged to protect her life. Her security detail dutifully did their job, as professionals should, but they all loathed her and wanted to be on a different detail. Hillary Clinton was despised by the Secret Service as a whole. Former President Bill Clinton was much more amia ble than his wife. Often the Secret Service would cringe at the verbal attacks Hillary would use against her husband. They were embarrassed for his sake by the manner and frequency in which she verbally insulted him, sometimes in the presence of the Secret Service, and sometimes behind closed doors. Even behind closed doors Hillary Clinton would scream and holler so loudly that everyone could hear what she was saying. Many felt sorry for President Clinton and most wondered why he tolerated it instead of just divorcing his "attack dog" wife. It was crystal clear that the Clintons neither liked nor respected each other and this was true long before the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Theirs was genuinely a "marriage of convenience." Chelsea was much closer to her father than her mother, even after the Lewinsky scandal, which hurt her gravely. Bill Clinton did in fact have charisma, and occasionally would smile at or shake hands with his security detail. Still, he always displayed an obvious air of superiority towards them. His security detail uniformly believed him to be disingenuous, false, and that he did nothing without a motive that in some way would enhance his image and political career. He was polite, but not kind. They did not particularly like him and nobody trusted him.

Al Gore was the male version of Hillary Clinton. They were friendlier toward each other than either of them were towards former President Clinton. They were not intimate, so please don't read that in. They were very close in a political way. Tipper Gore was generally nice and pleasant. She initially liked Hillary but soon after the election she had her "pegged" and no longer liked her or associated with her except for events that were politically obligatory. Al Gore was far more left wing than Bill Clinton. Al Gore resented Bill Clinton and thought he was too "centrist." He despised all Republicans. His hatred was bitter and this was long before he announced for the Presidency. This hatred was something that he and Hillary had in common. They often said as much, even in the presence of their security detail. Neither of them trusted Bill Clinton and, the Secret Service opined, neither of them even liked him. Bill Clinton did have some good qualities, whereas Al Gore and Hillary had none, in the view of their security details. Al Gore, like Hillary, was very rude and arrogant toward his security detail. He was extremely unappreciative and would not hesitate to scold them in the presence of their peers for minor details over which they had no control. Al Gore also looked down on them, as they finally observed and learned with certainty on one occasion. Al got angry at his offspring and pointed at his security detail and said, "Do you want to grow up and be like the m?" Word of this insult by the former Vice-President quickly spread and he became as disliked by the Secret Service as Hillary. Most of them prayed Al Gore would not be elected President, and they really did have private celebrations in a few of their homes after President Bush won. This was not necessarily to celebrate President Bush's election, but to celebrate Al Gore's defeat. Everyone in the Secret Service wants to be on First Lady Laura Bush's detail. Without exception, they concede that she is perhaps the nicest and most kind person they have ever had the privilege of serving. Where Hillary patently refused to allow her picture to be taken with her security detail, Laura Bush doesn't even have to be asked, she offers. She doesn't just shake their hand and say, "Thank you." Very often, she will give members of her detail a kindhearted hug to express her appreciation. There is nothing false about her. This is her genuine nature. Her security detail considers her to be a "breath of fresh air." They joke that comparing Laura Bush with Hillary Clinton is like comparing "Mother Teresa" with the "Wicked Witch of the North." Likewise, the Secret Service considers President Bush to be a gem of a man to work for. He always treats them with genuine respect and he always trusts and listens to their expert advice.

They really like the Crawford, Texas detail. Every time the president goes to Crawford he has a Bar-B-Q for his security detail and he helps serve their meals. He sits with them, eats with them, and talks with them.. He knows each of them by their first name, and calls them by their first name as a show of affection. He always asks about their family, the names of which he always remembers. They believe that he is deeply and genuinely appreciative of their service. They could not like, love, or respect anyone more than President Bush. Most of them did not know they would feel this way, until they had an opportunity to work for him and learn that his manner was genuine and consistent. It has never changed since he began his Presidency. He always treats them with the utmost respect, kindness, and compassion. Please pass this on.

It is important for Americans to have a true understanding of their President.. And also the woman who si currently a candidate for President.

Mitt Romney addressed the Nation on his Mormon Faith

"A person should not be elected because of his faith, nor should he be rejected because of his faith"


Essentially, what Mr. Romney is saying, is that religious beliefs should have no affect in determining how one should lead this country in a Presidential position.
Whether it be leadership by Atheists, by Buddhists, or by Muslims. In reality, that would be akin to saying that, "God has no place in government." and that, "People really don't need to believe in God, to make a change." Which is in complete contradicition to the Founding documents of this Nation.

It would be a grave mistake to assume the people shouldn't decide who they want for their Leader by going merely on their consciences without the divine guidance of the Creator, in choosing someone who would lead not by his own moral principles, but by the One who Willed our very existence into being.

So many people will look at a candidate and say, "Well, I don't care what so and so stands for on the life issues, just as long as he takes care of my bank account I'm ok"...

And that, my friend, is where people make the tragic mistake of putting the interests of themselves first, and forgetting about the command of Almighty God to put Him first, and all the other needs would follow.

It's the Liberal Democrats Individualist mindset that has nearly destroyed this Nation, folks. It has even worked its way into the hearts of many believers, and turned them astray. Creating a diverse and Culturally Ill society.

In my honest opinion, we can't trust someone who would question the role of God in how he should lead, because we would be going against the One in control.

All I can say is, if you (America) want to put a Democrat in office? God help this country, cause this Nation is going to cry out, begging, for someone to help.

Mitt Romney to give speech on the Mormon Faith

Most religions have their theological beliefs that affect how they conduct their everyday lives. Many are often shy about how they go about their expressing their faith, and opinions regarding them, because they often go into conflict with other differing belief systems, but we still try to get our message out there in order to give a sense of what we stand for and how we came to those beliefs. Some followers, however, believe that they can live their lives seperate from their beliefs and still govern how they conduct business, touting "double speak". We call these, the Cults. They often begin with an authoritarian pronouncement on the part of the founder or founders. This in turn is institutionalized during their lifetime into a dogmatic system which requires absolute faith in the supernatural authority of those who received the initial revelation and whose writings and pronouncement are alleged to have transmitted it.

Now, what we have to keep in mind here, when we say, "Founders", we're talking about people who lived within the last four or five hundred years, and that came up with their own ideas about the universe and so forth, they do not stem from the message of Jesus Christ, thus, they isolate themselves from truth.

True Christianity, from the Word of God (The Holy Bible), explicitly states God's command, that no other "deities" are to be accepted, except the One True God Himself. We know that God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit the Divine nature of God are all One!!
Mormonism teaches exactly the opposite, they misuse John 10:34, "Ye are gods," falsely implying that Jesus endorsed godhood for man. This cannot be true for it does not fit the context of John 10:24-36, where Jesus shows his equality with the Father and deservedly is called God. In contrast, the judges (so-called gods) in Psalm 82:6 were so called because of their lofty position over the people, but God rebuked them for their sins, and they were proven to be not gods after all but fallen, sinful men.

It is baffling to say the least, but upon reading Psalm 82, it is a wonder Mormons would want to identify with Psalm at all. It says nothing good about these men. However, if that is the position they so desire, then only the Judgement of the Omnipetent God can follow. All it really amounts to is an attempt to mask the truth by the misnomor of orthodox Christianity.

How all of this would translate into a position of Leadership as President?

Well, if you're concerned about family values and life issues, then it would have a great deal to say the least. Especially at the present time, when we are in a crisis of abortion, sodomized unions, Justice system, Radical Islam, and Morality in general all the way around. In some instances, popular opinion really doesn't matter, it is a matter of what is right and wrong. A Nation that thinks it can continue Murdering unborn children just isn't thinking right. So when you think about who you want as President, then remember that they are candidates out there who understand this, and thus, want to help this Nation by working to put an end to it, if you'll only give them that opportunity.

Make no mistake, I'm not here to degrade Mr. Romney because he's Mormon, I believe Mitt's a good man, but I think if he's going to be President, then he needs to be willing make Almighty God front and center in his campaign. And that not only goes for Mitt Romney, but it goes for every person in this Nation.

To please God should be our only desire in life, for where God is not welcomed there is only chaos!

The Undemocratic Democrats!


While President Bush works to make recess appointments for the Thanksgiving holiday, Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid holds Congress in session overtime today and throughout the holiday in trying to disrupt the President's efforts of crucial nominations for new available seats. Harry Reid, while also going against the President's plans, is creating extreme partisan hack maneuvers to disrupt our efforts in the War on Terror; debates on Capitol Hill became quite heated today between Senate Republicans and House Democrats on the consensus of continued support of our Troops in Iraq, while Republicans make the proposal to give the Troops what they need, Democrats oppose continued funding, and so, they've decided to discontinue funding the Troops until January. This is inexcusable, this is rhetorical whining partisanship by the Lunatic-Left within our government, it's nothing more than pure hatred directed at the President, this is the Clinton machine in action, the lunatic left is at it again, and they will stop at nothing to ensure defeat in this noble effort of fighting Extremist Jihad for the safety of this Great Republic we call home, America!!!

This is all the more reason that Americans need to do some serious thinking leading up to this next and most crucial election, this Nation under a Democrat Presidency would be a disaster of all disasters, with Communism soon to raisee its ugly head.

Make no mistake, Friends ... We are blessed with one of the Greatest Presidents we will ever find in our honorable C in C President George W. Bush, may you take this time over the holiday weekend to reflect upon the many burdens the President has taken upon himself for your continued blessings of the American Dream, he deserves your thanks and appreciation. A man of utmost Courage and admirable principles of Dignity in Honoring the Great people of America, You and I!!!

Remember this: Democrats look for equality of outcome, no matter what the consequences of those actions may hold, in other words, according to the left, if their are consequences--we are supposed to "deal with them". What a sad reality, friends, that such an Ideology exists within the hallowed halls of our Congress, with Radical Jihadists just waiting for that opportunity!!

We the GOP movement on the other hand are in the interest and safety of all, and are willing to avoid risks by taking the necessary actions and precautions to ensure that those risks and threats do not become a reality!!
