Ronald Reagan once said,

"If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

No more perfect time could that be realized than right now, when our leaders are moving us ever further toward total dependence on the government and away from our reliance upon God our Creator for our needs.

So I ask you, won't you pray for America, that the people of this nation would never forget that we are 'One Nation Under God.' That is how the founders of this country envisioned it when they drafted and signed the Constitution of this Republic.

Wise Saying Worth Heeding Part XII

Today's Wise Saying comes from the book of Ecclesiastes:

Ecclesiastes 9:3-12

Wise Saying Worth Heeding Part XI

This wise saying comes from 1 Thessalonians 5 verses 1-28; and it speaks of the coming day of God.

The Day of the Lord

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. Wise Saying Worth Heeding Part VIII

I chose today's wise saying as it applies to some of what I've been going through lately, and for the reason that it has helped me to come to terms with, and overcome some of what I've been going through...it comes from the book of James:

Starting with James 1:5-7

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting. for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

And continuing in...

verses 12-18

"Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ to His disciples

John 1:9-11 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.

From Scotland To America

Thousands of abortions involving underage girls are occurring in Scotland, although the children have taken classes on alleged "comprehensive sex education."

The news comes after the British Medical Journal released a report on the U.K.'s sex education program, which Valerie Huber of the National Abstinence Education Association calls an utter failure.

"The thing that really makes it interesting though, related to what's going on here in the U.S., is that [the Scots] implemented a program that the president is describing as a promising, in fact a successful program that he wants to replicate with your and my tax dollars here in the United States," she notes. This program in Scotland is basically the same program that we have had in the United States for over a decade now and is leading to the same results as what Scotland is experiencing. The difference here is that many schools did not teach "comprehensive" sex ed., but stayed with the abstinence programs. However, Congress has removed funding for all abstinence programs within public schools.

With the elimination of all abstinence programs ... diseases will become more prominent than what they already are, so that the whole society will become more aware and hopefully expose the "comprehensive" sex ed. programs for what they really are, death traps. Also, with abortions (the murder of unborn children) on the rise there will be the increased mortality of the teenage mothers who were encouraged to opt for abortions.

Just something we'll have to think about.

Editor's Note: Upon reconsideration of the post title and this quote...I wouldn't quite characterize it as something to heed per se, but how the philosophy of atheism is diametrically opposed to the overarching reality which has more and all authority. So I would be more predisposed to encourage you to acknowledge the bigger-than-yourself fact, that is your Creator. Which is what Pastor Wilson is trying to show you. He was arguing against Christopher Hitchens who called Christianity "wicked," which proves the hatred that Hitchens and most atheists have for Christians.

Is It Really ... "Voluntary"?

Who says that these government-controlled programs are "voluntary"?

Well, that would be an easy way to sell something to try and get people to think that you're a "trustworthy" fellow, when in actuality, your intention is to have them do things your way without any internal options once they've signed on.

That is exactly how it works, and will work with these government-run programs currently being drafted in Congress and to be forced upon the American people.

The plain and simple fact of the matter is, the current system that the government has is going bankrupt with success because it's working ... I know that seems like an odd way to put it, but that's just the way it is.

You see, government-run programs aren't really created by the people, they are designed by the internal bureaucracy that is currently within the government...power-hungry bureaucrats like George Soros and others who want to make a name for themselves and a name only, they aren't looking to help you or me. They design these types of programs Medicare and Medicaid to work for them and only them, not the American people. Take for another example, the educational system, you have the option to send your child to a private school, or to one of the public schools. If you think about how you want your child educated, you will look into, and evaluate each system before you enroll your children to make sure that your child is being taught according to what you wish them to learn. It would be easier to make a decision if this were in the early to mid-1800s, but it's not that easy today because you have so much social-engineering going on in the bad direction, going away from and against the traditional, God-fearing values that started this country. Do you have options in the public schools that will permit your children to not learn the atheist philosophies of Darwinism and sex education? No. Once your child is in the public school, they will be taught atheism and the philosophies there-of. So, if you are a Christian and want your children taught the values that are from Our Father in heaven as opposed to the atheist public school system, then you will have to do either of two things - spend an awful lot of time refuting what your children are learning in school, and explaining things to them the right way, or two, get them out of the public school. Option two, get them out, is your best bet. In addition, the public option is no good, because the government raises your taxes in order to pour money into atheist programs like diversity training...while the educational needs of your children they care less about, because they want to do everything in their power to obliterate every vestige of Christianity and faith in God in this country. I will say this, however, they are fighting an uphill battle that they will not reach the summit of. The government can destroy our bodies, but they can't take our souls...at least those of us who were taught and know the truth.

Another question to ponder is: What actually happens to America if a majority of the people agree with the atheist controlled government and sign on to their plan? Well, slowly but surely, you will start to see the government dictating everything that you can and cannot do, and the can's will become far less than the cant's as time progresses. That's just how it is. China, for example, where families can have but only so many children and then no more, they murder the rest. An atheist who is in a position of leadership, he doesn't answer to anyone...at least they think they don't.

Under a legitimate government, the leaders of a nation are supposed to answer to the people, and the people elect whom they will to be their leaders...the problem is, education is not this way, and with a majority of the people having education watered down with socialist and communist propaganda, they have been taught to vote against their freedom and prosperity. Ultimately, the people answer to God, and we are to elect God-fearing Senators and Representatives as our leaders in order to retain our freedom and prosperity. In other words, we aren't supposed to choose who we think should be our leaders...which would be an earthly king if we were to choose who we think should be our leaders, but we are to follow what God's Word says and choose our leaders who do the same.

Correction: I bleated out like George Soros was a "Senator," but in fact, is a businessman who is in close alignment with leaders on Wall-Street and other financial big-shots and firms, and who works to help the socialist power structure.

Economic Terms Part III

Annuity - 1: a sum of money paid at regular intervals (as every year) 2: an insurance contract providing for the payment of an annuity .

My guess is, that the return on the folks annuity to Congress for the huge cap-and-trade policy and health-care bill won't be very good.

Palin on Obama's Health Plan

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called President Barack Obama's health plan "downright evil" Friday in her first online comments since leaving office, saying in a Facebook posting that he would create a "death panel" that would deny care to the neediest Americans.

"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care," the former Republican vice presidential candidate wrote.

Indeed, Obama's "health-care" plan will be a disaster. It is a toxic mixture that will lead out country into total economic failure and ultimately collapse. From day one, many months before Mr. Obama was sworn in, it was clear that his "health-care" would be designed to benefit Planned Parenthood whose goal is to murder as many children as possible and to cut shorter the days of the elderly, and all to the burden and subjugation of the taxpayers. I'm sure many aren't aware, but Planned Parenthood is a Nazi organization operating on U.S. soil, since the inception and legalization of abortion in America in 1973. It would be just six short years before I came into the world. Thankfully though, my parents came before and were brought up in good Christian homes before any of the rebellion in the early sixties that would bring about the change from Christian teaching in our schools, to more atheistic dominated. And my how things have gone down-hill for our country ever since atheists took over our schools. It has done much to synchronize the masses and the current leadership that we have...and now this deadly disaster that awaits us, Obamacare.

Economic Terms Part II

REVENUE

What is 'revenue'?

"Revenue - 1:the income from an investment 2: the income that a government collects for public use 3: the income produced by a given source"

One little thing, since the sixteenth amendment was ratified, our government created what is termed the IRS or Internal Revenue Service, which is, for all intents and purposes only there to perform what I call extortionist taxes. The sixteenth amendment alone is a form of extortion. It places in the hands of the Federal Government unlimited taxing authority.

In regards to definition two, I would rephrase that to say - the income that a government steals for public use. It is stealing hard-earned money from the working man and then redistributing it to causes which do not directly benefit the citizenry and nation as a whole ... such as the health-care plan that is currently before Congress, a charade as the Honorable Congressman and Representative Tome Price would call it. This is why we need change in America, change in the opposite direction from the way we are heading, away from Mr. Obama's and Congress's Communist Manifesto mindset and ideas.

We need to, as a nation, come back into submission to the Will of our heavenly Father if we wish to rise out of the disaster that is upon us.

The collection of revenue should never mean the punishment of a responsible work ethic in families, and the rewarding or protection of bad behavior such as abortion, the murder of unborn children.
