Beware of False Teachers!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their New Year's day celebrations ... I know I sure have, I had one of the most delicious of dinners.

I'd like to take a moment to bring your attention to an article I was reading earlier, and it deals with a writer who is condemning a pastor for his beliefs on Salvation ... this writer's name is David Schmidt. Mr. Schmidt seems to think that Salvation has no measure of accountability to it, and that we can still go on living as we please, even after professing with our mouth that 'We know Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.'

Well, just for the record, Mr. Schmidt, the first step to salvation is giving your heart and life to Jesus Christ. Which means that you are willing to leave your old sinful nature behind to follow Jesus, and eternal life is the gift of that commitment thereof.

If you are sincere in your believing that 'Jesus is Lord' of your life, then you will not demean, or try to diminish the holy messages that Paul Washer brings to lost and needy souls in this country so in need of Jesus Christ. You are trying to rob them of their opportunity to the very thing that you profess to be.

Update: Here is the link to David J. Schmidt's rant against Paul Washer.
