Scott Brown defends pro-abortion stance (OneNewsNow.com)

WASHINGTON - Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown of Massachusetts says he opposes federal funding for abortions, but thinks women should have the right to choose whether to have one.

Brown told ABC's This Week that he disagrees with his party's position that the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion should be overturned. The incoming lawmaker says the abortion question is one that's best handled by a woman, her family and her doctor. He also says more effort needs to go into reducing the number of abortions in the U.S.

He also said the GOP shouldn't take his vote for granted on every issue. He says he's fiscally conservative but more moderate on social issues.

I really don't want to go into the personal life of Senator elect Brown (and my apologies to Mr. Brown if I do), but it seems to me that a lot of what has to do with his pro-abortion stance would most likely have something to do with the views of his wife and two daughters who most likely hold the liberal view on abortion.

Well, I don't know Senator elect Scott Brown's spiritual relationship with the Lord, but I do know that anyone who is firm in the faith will not allow even family choices to persuade them in doing what is right. In that case, I don't believe that Mr. Brown is using the good conscience that God gave him when it comes to this issue. Nevertheless, he is welcome to his opinion in that regard, and I'll leave that between him and God. Just one question though - How could anyone stand before a Living, loving Creator who does not condone murder, especially the most innocent, the unborn children, and stand there with a clear conscience about the decision to support such actions which would take their lives? I don't think it will go well for those folks, indeed, anyone who would do such. It is not only a leftist position to vote for taking lives of unborn babies, but it is a vote against God who does not condone murder.

As was mentioned in an earlier article by Matt Barber Editor for OneNewsNow.Com, there is one positive aspect of Scott Brown's election which will go a long way to stop federally funded abortion on demand that is contained in the communist healthcare bill trying to be rammed through by the communists a.k.a "democrats" in our congress, and the economic downturn that would come with cap-n-trade legislation proposed by the communist congress.

Pray for our elected leaders, folks, that God would move them in the right direction!

God bless you, and thank you for reading today!
