Sweet Victory!

A great sigh of relief can be felt across this nation today, as all my fellow hunters can feel confident and safe that you and I can keep our guns, full story can be found here.

The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Americans have a right to own guns for self-defense in their homes, the justices' first major pronouncement on gun rights in U.S. history.

God bless America!

  2. Dear Mr. Schwartz,

I appreciate your taking interest in my blog and wishing me well, but I do not allow profanity here - That's rule #1 here. I wish I could have left your comment up there, but as it is, I have no way of editing out the profanity, unlike wordpress which can.Just remember not to use profanity, and your comment won't have to be deleted. OK? TY.

  3. Ok I'm a big boy and can follow rules. The US is not 500 years old Jeremiah so the flag cannot be either. The flag was adopted in 1777 not 1508.

For someone who waves the flag so much it would pay for you to actually visit wikipedia and read about the thing

  4. Since we are building bridge across the greatest of divides here I need to ask this.

What do you think of the folks from Westboro Baptist Church?

  5. Mr. Schwartz,

Well, let me just make one thing very clear here -

What homosexuals must come to understand, is that God hates sin. As Jesus Christ is our example, by living a clean & Holy life, and that's what He commanded that we get sin out of our life and abstain from sin.

I strongly disagree with the Westboro Baptist Church's assessment of the situation - God doesn't hate the homosexual, ok? He doesn't hate the sinner, but the sin which is sodomy. And what the Westboro Baptist Church needs to do, is change their strategy to explain to the homosexuals is, it would go something like this. 'Sodomy is a sin. Sin cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.'

That would be more true than say what the Westboro Baptist Church is displaying on the streets.

People can change as long as God has not forsaken them, and that is something else that must be understood clearly - God will forsake people, but He doesn't stop loving them, He loves them just the same if they do not want to do His will.

You see, when we judge, we are to judge from a Righteous position, and therefore, we aren't spewing forth hatred for the physical person in front of us. See?

A lot of times, the Secular crowd will quote the verse, 'Judge not, lest ye be judged.' And you see, that's taken way out of context to create a lie. Let's say I run into a fellow down the street and that fellow said to me, "You see so-and-so there going down the street, I don't like him, I think we should just off him"

Was his judgement right? Of course not! because he's judging from an outward appearance, the actual person.

We don't judge people of their outward self, but from a Righteous standpoint, we judge them from a Biblical understanding, what God's Word tells us we should do according what peoples' actions are-If they are contrary to what God's Word says, then we confront them about it. A lot of times, words won't help though, so all we can do is just hand them a little tract and let them ponder on it, because taling with people some times will be a turn-off for some, but some will take the time to listen. And that's a critical part of our civilization today, we have the freedom to speak with the public about their need for salvation and that God loves them as individuals but that He will have no part of sin within their lives, and that He wants them to come to Him and He will give them peace beyond measure.
