Well, I feel that this is tragic:
SUMTER, S.C. – An ex-convict who thought he was being robbed gunned down a 12-year-old trick-or-treater, spraying nearly 30 rounds with an assault rifle from inside his home after hearing a knock on the door, police said Saturday.
Quentin Patrick, 22, is accused of killing 12-year-old T.J. Darrisaw on Friday night. T.J.’s 9-year-old brother, Ahmadre Darrisaw, and their father, Freddie Grinnell, were injured but were released after being treated at a hospital.
The family attended a Halloween celebration in downtown Sumter, 45 miles east of Columbia, then stopped at Patrick’s house because the porch light was on, police said. Another sibling was with them, but wasn’t hurt.
Police said at least two of the boys were wearing ghoulish masks when they knocked on the door. The boys’ mother and a toddler stayed in the car nearby.
Patrick emptied his AK-47, shooting at least 29 times through his front door, walls and windows after hearing the knock, Police Chief Patty Patterson said.
And what was the rational for this idiot’s assault?
He told police he had been robbed and shot in the past year.
“He wasn’t going to be robbed again, and he wasn’t going to be shot again,” Patterson said Saturday at a news conference.
Yeah, that’s a wonderful rationale, isn’t it? You were shot about a year ago, and that gives you the right to just gun down any person that romps around on your yard?
And the possible ‘excuses’ given by the police department are meaningless:
Patterson said Patrick had multiple drug convictions but police do not believe he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the shooting. Authorities did not know if Patrick or Pee had attorneys. Both are being held without bond.
A man who identified himself as Patrick’s brother but declined to give his name said in a call to The Associated Press that he believed Patrick was suffering from post-traumatic stress after a break-in last December. The man’s account matched the information police provided.
Society certainly needs to hold a responsibility for this child’s death:
-They promote Halloween, a dangerous Pagan activity that requires you associate with complete or near strangers to receive candy in a handout manner.
-Society has a total lack of respect for private property. This child, who was undoubtedly educated by liberals, didn’t have a clue what ‘private property’ was. The parents recklessly promoted the concept that no property is private property, and they happened to run into a loon that shoots 12 year olds on sight.
-The parents didn’t have a gun, and didn’t try to defend their child from the madman, or at least get rid of him in case he wanted to kill someone else.
-The lunatic also didn’t have a ‘NO TRESPASSING’ or like-minded sign on his lot. This man was also poorly educated on the concept of private property.
So, liberals are certainly to blame for their idiotic ‘communal’ ideas. Under a President Osama, we would have absolutely no private property rights, and anyone would be allowed to ring the doorbell on someone’s private property. This child was poorly educated by his idiot parents and his mongrel teachers, and he paid the ultimate price.
Yet, what’s even worse than the ‘communal’ ideas of the liberals is their foolish ideas of allowing convicted felons to roam free without any marking of his house, as well as allowing this lunatic to carry a gun. You see, liberals are too busy taking away gun rights from upstanding citizens to care about the rights of felons; until liberals can abolish guns entirely, they’re going to allow felons to have the same gun rights as us. Through their worthless rehabilitation programs, which wastes taxpayer money on society’s scum, liberals work to have convicted felons on OUR streets. That means that death cultists, Neo-Nazis, atheists, and liberals are all going to have the same inalienable right to live in your neighborhood as you do. Not only will felons be living in areas where they aren’t subject to any authority, they’re also going to be carrying the same weapons and having the same rights of privacy that you do. Do you think this really sounds sensible?
As the police ‘excuses’ show, the man was mentally unstable, and was convicted of several drug and alcohol crimes, as well as his felon. As this incident has shown, former felons generally cannot be rehabilitated. If this idiot had been sentenced to death before, T.J. Darrisaw would still be alive today. Yet, not only will the liberals refuse to learn from past experience, they’re probably going to give this moron a short sentence, and let him roam the streets again with the same rights that you and I have. Alternatively, if right-thinking people manage to persuade the jury to give this man a life sentence, you can count on the liberals to waste as much tax money on this idiot as they can. They’re going to try to justify giving these idiots Plato, among other pointless and costly literature and whatnot.
About the only thing you can do for a convicted felon is to try to introduce him to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, unlike Tucker Carlson and Pat Robertson, I think that then-Governor Bush had the right idea: conversion to Christianity should not spare you from the death penalty. It is impossible to tell whether murderers are only pretending to be Christian for clemency, or if they really mean it. For the sake of our safety and our tax dollars, however, we should just execute them. If they really did repent of their sins, the LORD would allow them into heaven, and though they may protest their death while they live on Earth, they will surely be glad of the government’s decision when they reach heaven.
So, while liberals will go in to some idiotic Communist rant on how we need to help criminals fully integrate back into society, conservatives want to briefly expose the loser to Jesus and rid society of such an abhorrent blot. Which do you think would be guaranteed to stop another crime akin to T.J. Darrisaw’s?
I think that then-Governor Bush had the right idea: conversion to Christianity should not spare you from the death penalty.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree, Objective Scrutator! Another great post! Keep them coming!
Although we must show compassion, our compassion should never be used as means to make excuse for the criminal to escape the civil law that is set in place. Which, for the most part, was established by God in the beginning Genesis 9:6 - "Whoever sheddest man's blood, by man, shall his blood be shed." And then He re-affirms Himself to the people at later dates throughout His Word that He has so graciously provided us with. 1 Timothy explains it quite well, where it talks about the law is made not for the righteous, but for the un-righteous, law-breakers, perverts (homosexuals), murderers, etc, etc.
Dear Jeremiah,
ReplyDeleteYou are right on with this post. How do you think Jesus would want us to execute these scumbags? The liberals want to do it with lethal injection because it is the painless. But shouldn't those murderers get more pain than than their victim? Hand it to liberals to always think about the murderers, rapist, abortionist, perverts, witches, and atheists before the good Christian people who need protecting. Do you think cruxificion is the right way to go?
You are also right about private property. I am tired of people coming to my door. I wnat to buy a big dog that will keep my property safe.
Dear Jeremiah,
ReplyDeleteYou are right on with this post.
Well, actually, Objective Scrutator is the author of this post ... I invited him as a guest blogger. So, he could probably better answer than I could.
I'll answer what I can, though...
How do you think Jesus would want us to execute these scumbags?
Something about that question doesn't seem right....(lol)...Jesus is not concerned with the death penalty. He is concerned about one's soul, and the responsibility one has to uphold the law so no trouble is encountered.
The liberals want to do it with lethal injection because it is the painless.
Well, first remember that liberals don't want any penalties. For what I can tell they would let all murderers in prison go 'free' ... but all in all, they like the prison system, because it is a means by which "liberals" can burden our economy further and bring us under a socialistic communist state.
But shouldn't those murderers get more pain than than their victim?
Pain? LOL. Well, lethal injection is, by far, the most painful form of penalty for murderers that we presently use. Go to DPIC (Death Penalty Information Center) on the web and you can read some pretty harrowing stories in regards to use of lethal injection.
Hand it to liberals to always think about the murderers, rapist, abortionist, perverts, witches, and atheists before the good Christian people who need protecting.
Well, either way, they have more to fear at the judgement seat of Almighty God than any Judge who might preside over civil cases concerning their life story in the here and now.
Do you think cruxificion is the right way to go?
No. No one deserves to die the way our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died. No one is worthy of His shoes, and could never take them.
If I was going to be an assigner of the death penalty for criminals, I would be more in favor of using the methods of hanging or guillitine - they're quick and very effective methods of execution. Although one would require a sowing back for funeral processions to go through.:p ... lol.
You are also right about private property. I am tired of people coming to my door. I wnat to buy a big dog that will keep my property safe.
Hmmmm, private property is a tough one for myself, let me think ... If I have my own land that I have bought and paid for, and I am concerned about trespassing (Don't want trespassers) then I must do either of two things...
1. Put up posted signs around the parameters of my property that says - Posted - No hunting, fishing, trapping or trespassing. All violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
With my name/signature one the signs.
2. Put up a fence around the property with locked gates on the roads leading into the property. And by law, no one can go through or over gated and fenced property without permission.
If, after I do all that, and someone comes on my property to do harm to my life or property, then I have a right to use whatever means of self-defense is at my disposal to defend my self and property.
If I have valuable items that I would like to keep, then it would be helpful to have a security system installed on the house and whatever buildings I have on the property...and if someone is caught stealing, then I call the police to do an investigation and have them prosecuted and be recompensed for all items stolen from my possession. If need be, and I catch them, I could hold them until authorities arrive on the scene.
I guard dog/dogs would be ok, if you prefer them, the only thing there is that people that you are acquainted with might come at a time you're not expecting them and would by misfortune get attacked...then there's a possible law suit with doctor bills involved to contend with.
So, all in all, that's about it ... I hope that helps some.
God bless!
"Although we must show compassion, our compassion should never be used as means to make excuse for the criminal to escape the civil law that is set in place."
ReplyDeleteExactly. Although liberals want us to think otherwise, Christianity is not a suicide pact.
"Which, for the most part, was established by God in the beginning Genesis 9:6 - "Whoever sheddest man's blood, by man, shall his blood be shed." And then He re-affirms Himself to the people at later dates throughout His Word that He has so graciously provided us with."
The LORD works in ways that almost appear human. If only the atheist would understand this!
"1 Timothy explains it quite well, where it talks about the law is made not for the righteous, but for the un-righteous, law-breakers, perverts (homosexuals), murderers, etc, etc."
All of those are unforgivable sins, and should be punished by execution.
"So, he could probably better answer than I could."
You answered excellently. There's just a few small points that I want to clarify:
"Well, either way, they have more to fear at the judgement seat of Almighty God than any Judge who might preside over civil cases concerning their life story in the here and now."
This is exactly true. We ought to punish them through capital punishment, so that our society can be cleansed of sin, yet the Final Punishment is in the hands of the LORD.
"If I was going to be an assigner of the death penalty for criminals, I would be more in favor of using the methods of hanging or guillitine - they're quick and very effective methods of execution. Although one would require a sowing back for funeral processions to go through.:p ... lol."
I like the Biblical method of stoning, although burning at the stake has traditionally been used, and Jesus seemed to specifically reference the Sword for punishments. Gary North's logic was that stones are cheap and plentiful; I find it hard to argue with logic like that.
As for private property, I generally believe that the owner has every right to do what he wants to trespassers... IF there are ample warning signs. The felon that shot Darrisaw did not have any warning sign; if he did, then we would have to look at this case in a whole different light.
