To a tree, anyway!! As Gomer Pyle always did say ... Shazaam!!
On Saturday evening we had some powerful electrical storms rumble through...there was hail, heavy rain, high winds, and yes, lightning...as you can see in this photo, lightning struck this big oak tree and practically debarked it, throwing chips of wood and bark flying in all directions. Needless to say, the tree will probably die.

Look like a giant cat, with big claws got ahold of it.
The bark came off all the way to the base...
