Democrats Up in Arms

As Bill would say, "The latest from the political grapevine"...

What in the world are Democrats going to do with Mr. Obama? Well, truth be told, they'll probably wind up desserting him.

After looking at his track record, it's pretty obvious that he's not been so effective at defending life in the womb. What's interesting is the fact that Obama has no need of his extreme Left-wing supporters when it comes to their agenda, even with him being an extreme Left-wing liberal himself. So, what's all the fuss about?

Well, I'll tell you, this is my opinion, and I don't know if any of you; my fellow Christian Conservatives have thought of it, or see it this way, but ... Obama has recently taken a sharp-right curve to the center - My thinking is that he is aware that the extreme liberal rhetoric is not pulling to his advantage very well, so he's moving right to try and make himself look as part of the true Christian crowd (who do not support abortion and sodomy rights, by the way), or, probably more likely so as to make himself look more well-intentioned than what his track record proves him to be, which is anything other than "good-intentioned." He's pretty slick, in that he sees where he can do the most persuading or deceiving (whichevery you prefer) those voters who are of younger status within the evangelical base of the GOP; and in trying to appeal to these younger folks he knows they have little experience, he knows that, and they are more likely to be persuaded by his persistent rhetorical message of "hope". It's a trick & trap; the name of the liberal game...so to speak. In effect, blinding them to the true and actual intentions behind his pandering as are stated emphatically within his track record. He says he will now "support a ban on late-term abortions under extraordinarily high risks to the mother." No one should ever believe this. Obama is for abortion no matter the reason, no matter the consequences of such an evil decision. However, I'll let you decide. We do, however, have a democracy, you know...and that's one of the great things about this country, we have the freedom to expose myth from fact. Remember, the truth should not be in your hand, but in your heart; and Obama has shown what the true intent of his heart is by providing for us most expediently his track record on display for the world to see that he would be a choice not worth the taking come this November. At any rate, while we do have the freedom to choose, we also have to endure the blessing or cursing of such choices, but I guess that all goes with living and learning, right?

Obama: A Deceiver

Obama says he will "expand" the faith-based initiative plan enacted by President Bush. Now, obviously he's doing this as a means to lure evangelicals to vote for him. Obama, being the liberal extremist that he is...has the organization Americans United for Seperation of Church and State spinning their heads (as this article notes); wondering to themselves, "Hmmmm, liberal extremists don't support Christians, we hate Christians, Obama is supposed to do the same."

Ah! but you see, that's where you're not thinking Seperatists a.k.a dividers, Obama does not support Christians and Christianity, think back .... He is using this as a tactic to lure people of faith to vote for him, it's a trap.

If Obama gets elected, once he's elected you don't have to fear, because he won't do anything to help faith based groups, he will implement your (Americans United for Seperation of Church and State) policies, and thus, your wish will be granted, that you can take our (the Christians) freedom away. And that's what you want isn't it? Of course it is, you've already taken our right to pray in school away, we can't even have a picture with scripture on it in our apartment.

Don't let Obama fool you, folks, he is not a "Christian", by any stretch of the imagination. If he knew Jesus Christ as his personal Savior he would not be in favor of murdering the unborn, as it is, he knows not what living a Christ-like life means, he is a radical proponent of killing unborn children, an advocate for sodomites, in favor of taking our guns away, in favor of enslaving the working man to the government, socialized medicine (imagine the tax increase), talking with terrorists (as if they care about what he has to say, all they want is our blood) etc, etc, etc, etc.

If you can't see the inherent disaster in a vote for Obama then you have been blinded to the truth by the modern day leftist elitist mantra, or are just wilfully blind.

Don't be fooled; Barack Obama is an impending detriment to the State of our Union and safety of our Nation.

McCain Needs to Stand Up For His Faith In God

As one reporter notes:

"We live with a mandate to preach the gospel, to unashamedly testify what Christ has done in our lives, to generously share that information with others," says Schenck. "... And John McCain has yet to give that kind of public testimony, and it's undermining the confidence of evangelicals in John McCain."

...And I agree! As I mentioned in the last thread concerning war, if we are to defend ourselves against oppression and tyranny, we must draw our Nation together as One in Christ Jesus ... and when God sees that we are trying to serve Him, He will give us the victory over our enemies.

Friends, we have no power over the enemy in ourselves, we must rely on God, we must.

Evangelical Movement Still Profoundly Influential On Public Policy

A contingent of prominent evangelical political activists has debated the future of the evangelical Christian movement and its role in American politics during a panel discussion that took place yesterday in Washington, DC.

Named after a new book written by Family Research Council president Tony Perkins and Bishop Harry Jackson of the High Impact Leadership Coalition, the debate -- called "Personal Faith, Public Policy" -- took place at the National Press Club and was standing room only.

During the debate, Perkins told the crowd that conservative evangelicals are still having a "pronounced" impact on the shaping of American public policy. He argued Senator John McCain's (R-Arizona) rise to Republican presidential nominee does not indicate the religious right is dying. "I would suggest to you the fact that we have a McCain candidacy shows that the evangelicals remain strong and it's not a Rudy Giuliani candidacy," he insisted.

As Mr. Perkins has alluded to the fact that Senator McCain received the popular majority vote for POTUS, I'm not so sure though, that I can be as optimistic as he, and assume that Sen. McCain's candidacy proves we are as strong and influential... as we 'could be.'

We have some major moral problems going on right now in America, and I would suggest that as evangelicals and all denominations or non-denominational (it doesn't matter You believe in God's One and Only Son who died at Calvary, you're a member of the Saints) could do more; and the reason I say this, is there are many who proclaim to be "Christians" but they fail to live up to their potential in their witnessing capabilities. There are many areas where parenting Christians could take the time out of their "busy" schedules to meet with other parents at PTA meetings at their childrens school, where they could speak out for the Lord. To make a better influence we have to become active participants in public policy, on all levels, but especially where our children's future is being shaped at the State run level - and as we all know (at least those of us who aren't blinded by the lefist rhetoric), know that our State run public school systems are heavily influenced by the hate America first crowd - The ACLU Left-wing of Congress, which is the reason for heavy Leftists indoctrination and in turn, rising STDs to epidemic levels, which directly links back to the Radical Feminist agenda.

Overall, I agree with Mr. Perkins to the extent that Conservatives have shown Mr. McCain support so far as he is no "Rudy Giuliani," and certainly far, Far better than Barack Obama who has been endorsed recently by two Communists - Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Lewis Farrakhan.

However, I think McCain has shown some inconsistency on life and moral issues during his terms as Senator, some very important things he has supported in the past I've not been in full agreement with...and, we must remember, that 30-50% of the evangelical vote went to, which, in my opinion, the more capable of the two, Mike Huckabee, who has been consistent throughout his political career on the Life and Moral issues.

I think the two main things that gave McCain the boost among the majority of Conservatives; is his stance on Economic and National Security issues, the economy taking precedence over the two, which shows that the priorities of Americans are in their pockets and not in their hearts...I don't want to be too "pessimistic" here, but that's the way it would seem to me at least. This raises a lot of questions after today's vote in both houses to raise taxes after President Bush leaves office.

In the long run, however, I believe our Supreme Courts will be the greatest factor, our greatest need, to help promote morality, an avenue for Evangelical Conservatives.

If we can finalize a fully Conservative Court; that is if we have a President McCain, and we pray that we do, then great things can happen...in other words, there will be hope for America! So, do all you can to get the word out, and most importantly...Pray for America!

Left Redefining Conservative Evangelicalism

Over the past decade or so, the "religious" left has successfully re-defined Conservative Evangelicalism, by re-redfining it down to their own selective terms. Through a neverending barrage of complaints and half-truths, and outright lies, the re-defining of the substratum has weakened society's will to serve God, in that they have been tricked to believe other than what the truth and intent of our Founding principles were so many years ago. The underlying problem seems to be in the fact that the Left is harkened to think that Evangelical Conservatives are only concerned about "two issues" -- that of abortion, and traditional marriage, and that we've ignored the larger issues in the world, like AIDS/HIV and the homeless poor people, and the evironment.

History proves otherwise.

Throughout history, Conservatives have set the standard of caring for the poor and helping provide humanitarian aid.

The Salvation army being one of the largest humanitarian efforts in the world. Providing assistance to over thirty-million folks in America, alone, the Salvation Army considers themself an "evangelistic organization." World Vision ministry being another. The 700 club, has a huge project that helps to feed the hungry in Africa, matter of fact, I watched this last night on CBN (Christian broadcasting network). We also have Disabled Worker Programs, where those with disabilities have those who care for them, and show them how to work. This is wonderful!

Not to mention the thousands of churches across America who contribute to outreach in very quiet ways, as most are non-profit organizations giving of their time and assets to the winning of souls for Christ, and through biblical teaching of marriage, and about the avoidance of STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases.) Christian Conservative teaching, teaches abstinence until marriage, and has proven to be the only method for preventing STDs, and unwanted pregnancies.

Our efforts just confined to "two" of society's ills is not only asinine, it is a lie, we cover much more than the left would have us believe. Conservatives believe in the dignity and absolute instrinsic worth of every human life, and that's why we are striving to over-turn the bill that allows for the murder of over 1 million unborn children each year, and 50,000,000 since it was enacted in 1973 - Roe Vs. Wade.

The Left claims to be the "only authority" on the environmental issues of the day, Al Gore, the "arbiter" of all things life. Really? Oh, ok, the sky is falling, what are we going to do about it, Mr. Gore? Fairy-land, my friends!

Restrictions, restrictions, restrictions...is the left's way of creating environment, which would take heavy tolls on your taxes. Did you know that?

So, how have Conservatives helped the environment? Conservatives help to defend the ownership of guns for millions of hunters across America, as I am an avid hunter myself, ( Go NRA) I am so thankful for the right to bear arms. Hunters help to save the forest, thus, saving the air we need as human beings to stay alive, as the vital element oxygen that we breath is produced by trees, and trees also help to clean the air we breathe from the impurities that are produced by cars., and therefore, also keeping the pollutants from reaching the clean water supply that we drink. Some important things to know.

The Left-wing, the Democratic party, has successfully used the "poor" as a method for deceiving folks into voting for them ... in so doing, they could then create their plans of Socialism through the re-distribution of wealth, by taking from the rich and working class in the form of taxes, and in return, many workers would lose jobs because the small business employers would have to discontinue paying their hired hands in order to compensate for the higher tax law. How fair would this be? Considering the working man works for his living and would then pay for the living, health, and food for those who choose not too....This is what the left passes for "Conservative evangelicalism."

'Conservative Evangelicalism' is about doing the work of the Lord, through the Love of Jesus Christ, as a willful acknowledgment of what Christ taught, by giving of our time and talents as we feel freely compelled to do so. We want to help people get back on their feet in a personal way, to give them inspiration to go higher, so that we may have the will-power to want to succeed in life.

If you have a system that paves the way, then the people who have unsuccessful everyday living, are want to continue feeding off the government teet, and those who provide their living are going to suffer. Outreach begins at the heart, not at the government level.
