McCain Explains It In Expert Terms

“He believes in redistributing wealth, not in policies that grow our economy and create jobs and opportunities for all Americans. Sen. Obama is more interested in controlling who gets your piece of the pie than he is in growing the pie.”
- John McCain

If America is interested in their families and livielihoods, they will listen to John McCain. Barack Obama is the worst thing that could ever happen to this country. With a record of voting 94 times to increase taxes on the working and middle income, there is no mistaking that Obama would hurt America drastically more than it is already hurting.

If you're a small business person, and are doing well with your business...just be warned that under Mr. Obama's Socialist-Communist economic plan, you will very likely find yourself closing up shop within the first six months. Do you want that to happen? I wouls sincerely hope not!

So, go vote, and vote smart!

Vote John McCain as 44th President of the United States, and the Lord will bless you and your family!

God bless!

Obama Worried

Obama seems to be getting a little worried:

Listening to Barack Obama, it can seem like Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is the main person standing between him and the White House instead of John McCain.

Obama is putting as much heat on Palin as he is on the man at the top of the GOP ticket, objecting to the Republican Party's portrayal of her as a reformer who can bring change to Washington.

It is "horrifying", or, at least to a liberal like Obama it is, whenever somebody of honest and noble character like John McCain and Sarah Palin steps up to the plate in defense of what is right for our country.

We've come to the point in our country now, where the lines are clearly drawn on what is right and what is wrong. September 11, 2001 has helped to do that, as an awakening of what is the truth. You know, over the past 40 years or so, children have been learning in public schools that there are no certain standards of right and wrong, and that they can just believe whatever they want to believe, and the most dangerous part of this ideology was that they should "believe in themselves" and reject God. As we well know, though, as we discussed yesterday from John 5:30 we are 'nothing' in servitude to ourselves. It is John McCain and Sarah Palin who understand this also, they understand that it's not themselves that they confide in, but in the one who gave His all for all people, and that's what John and Sarah want to follow, as Sen. McCain has said from the beginning...'Serve a cause greater than yourself.' And I couldn't think of any better way to serve a cause greater than yourself than serving Jesus Christ, and as this example would translate into the good of the American people.

So, I can understand why Obama would be worried, and he has good reason to be worried.

We push against the gates of hell, friends, and help others to see the differences in good and evil.

Whenever Obama is worried, just think of Satan as being worried, as he is the Prince of the this dark world.

Take heart, my friends, for Jesus has shed His precious light for those who are in need, and he is showing you the door to peace and making America a better place, He is showing this to you in Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin. Please give them your vote this election '08.

God bless!

Dear Mr. Obama

Did you hear that, Obama?

Iraq was NOT a "mistake". We are safer now as a result of the right decisions made, and millions of Iraqi civilians can now go FREE and we can give all the thanks to the finest Military in the world, and one of the greatest Presidents in United States History! God bless our brave men and women in uniform, and President George W. Bush. God bless You! America is too great a country to be put into the hands of an incompetent, America-hating, Socialist like Obama who would destroy our precious Military, put the Homeland in grave danger, and America would ultimately lose, by cutting the funding to our defense missile system and troops!

Tell all your friends and family:

These are troubled times in which we live, and we need to all come together and make the right decision for America's future sake!

Vote John McCain and Sarah Palin for President of the United States!

What A Speech...

Ladies and Gentlemen, the next President of the United States, John McCain!

Fight for what's right for our country.

Fight for the ideals and character of a free people.

Fight for our children's future.

Fight for justice and opportunity for all.

Stand up to defend our country from its enemies.

Stand up for each other; for beautiful, blessed, bountiful America.

Stand up, stand up, stand up and fight. Nothing is inevitable here. We're Americans, and we never give up. We never quit. We never hide from history. We make history.

Thank you, and God Bless you.

What a magnificent speech, and the two needs of this country that he mentioned and was what I was hoping for...the need for Supreme Court justices who interpret the Constitution not define it, so we can stop the ACLU lawyers from legislating their perversion of the law from the bench.

The other one was putting the childrens future back into the hands of parents all across America, so that they can homeschool their children if they so desire; and this is probably one of, if not the biggest challenges of our time besides the Supreme Court being in jeopardy. Many schools are teaching the perversion of human nature that is homosexuality, putting many children at high risk of diseases, and accepting behavior that would influence some sickos out there to commit criminal actions, such as pedophilia and rape.

No greater challenge we face, friends, than to stop these hypocritical minded judges who legislate their depravity at a seat of authority given to them in good trust by the people of this great country and then turn tyrannical in their rulings favoring depravity. It cannot be left to happen.

We must return some dignity and honor to these places of authority!

John McCain and Sarah Palin will help to do just that.

Let's give them our support on November 4, 2008.

God bless!

Obama Ad Attacks McCain's Pro-Life Stance

I urge all pro-life people, Conservative and Democrat alike to speak out against Obama's new add attacking John McCain.

Obama is without any pre-supposition or doubt, radically pro-abortion, which is essentially the defense of murder. Those defending Obama's radical pro-murder stance are saying that McCain is "out of touch" with women today; and that his overturning Roe v. Wade would put women at "great risk". Clearly, this shows that, to the pro-abortion (murder) crowd, life means nothing to them. That the left is pronouncing the overturning Roe v. Wade as putting women "at risk" meme, is evidence of their desire to carelessly slaughter children in the name of greed and more personal or self-gratification. And this, my friends, is Satan at work.

Please speak out and fight back against this tirade of injustice being presented as "good" when it is at its roots, Evil!

The stakes could never be higher, as our Supreme Court is weighed in the balance at a most historic turn in our Nation's history. Please stand up in defense of those who cannot speak for themselves, stand up for Life.

McCain & Palin for Justice...

...And for that, I am truly grateful!

Here is why:

"If we execute murderers and there is in fact no deterrent effect, we have killed a bunch of murderers. If we fail to execute murderers, and doing so would in fact have deterred other murders, we have allowed the killing of a bunch of innocent victims. I would much rather risk the former. This, to me, is not a tough call."

John McAdams - Marquette University/Department of Political Science, on deterrence

You know, we get a lot of media coverage on the murderers ... but why don't we ever hear about the harrowing pain that fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, neices, and nephews have gone through as victims of these crimes?

It's time we administer justice where justice is due, and stop being so cowardly, and fight for justice on behalf the innocent American citizenry who've lost loved ones to cruel and heartless murderers!

Sen. John McCain and Sarah Palin will do just that!

Come out on November 4th and bring your family and friends and let us give them our vote in support of life and family!

God bless!

Experience - It Qualifies!

This is now down to the wire on what it takes to be Commander in Chief, and likewise, co-Commander in Chief (Vice-President). Whichever candidate has the most experience is the candidate that is better qualified to lead. So, all in all, experience is the top priority when it comes to becoming a leader. With experience, however, comes the need to understanding the needs of the people ... one can have experience, but are the goals in mind what "works best", so to speak, and past proposals outlined in the candidates public forum will prove to us the outcome of their agenda and how well it benefited the people, or how it may have restricted or hurt the people, in essence.

So, here we are, Democrats and Republicans have voiced their opinions on who they've confirmed to secure the future of this great Nation. And the contenders are ...

On the Democratic side - Barack Obama(D) for President/Joe Biden(D) for Vice President
On the Republican side - John McCain(R) for President/Sarah Palin(R) for Vice President

Which one of these two camps is more qualified to lead?

Well, for arguments sake, let's put it this way ... Which of these two camps is going to use government intervention on the two basic issues facing our country, and how effective their past history in dealing with state/government policies that they've dealt with economically and socially.

We'll start with Barack Obama's history as a Senator. How long has he been a Senator? January 4, 2005 - Present. 3 years, and based on his voting record, he is recognized as the most liberal Democrat in the Senate at present. What makes him the most liberal? Well, if you know what the most liberal, which would is more well known as the extreme left-wing of the Democratic party means, you understand that government intervention to control peoples lives economically has the greatest impact on a wide scale basis, and more often than not, it is a negative impact by tax and spend, and the reason this has a negative impact, is because those who are working to pay and make a living for their families are the ones with a steady above average pay because many people depend on them and their services to sustain them, sort of a hand-in-hand thing, you might say, but these very people, that working hard to supply for their families are who the extreme left-wing look to when they want to help those whom they think are "worthy" of their help monetarily, and they have a list in which are government held programs designed and used to raise or lower the deductible on your income, but in this case, with the liberal Democrat economic policies it is usually raised to finance the programs they create for the purpose of redistributing the income you pay in to the government system. Overall, reducing the amount saved in case of a national emergency/crisis, but secondly, and most importantly of all, it hurts the people who make this country work, the people who work...to make it work, because instead of evenly distributing wealth throughout (unlike the Reaganomics style trickle down policies), it is all feeding unnecessary programs that aren't helping anybody except those who squander it for political power and greed and those who do not wish to make a living for themselves, in other words, it feeds corruption and discord among the masses, as all are bound by one (the government) to work and slave and feed from for their purposes. Here, Barack Obama and Joe Biden are alike in their want for more taxation which does not represent the views of the majority. This, my friends, is what we call Socialism, and it puts our state of existence in great danger, because it puts too much power into the hands of the government. It is authoritarianism, just as Hitler believed in putting everbody on a fixed income basis.

Speaking of discord, it is in the social/moral policies that our nation consists and rests upon, and it is in this area that the extreme left-wing of the Democratic party, chooses, deliberately and knowingly, to divorce themselves from reality (much the same as they do on economic policies), ignoring a 250 year old American foundation, guided by one book. Do you know what book that is? The Holy Bible. As far as the the moral area is concerned, there are two issues that are affecting our country in a profound way - Life and sexuality, which correspond into the two injustices that the extreme left-wing is trying to impose through the highest court that are inflicting great damage to our 'traditional' culture as a whole. What are they? Abortion and homosexuality. Now, regardless of what the stakes are, which are high, to say the least, if we are to keep our nation around much longer, how they've gained ground, as was mentioned, is through the Supreme Court, who interprets and changes the Constitution to serve their own purposes. What the Founders made the Constitution to be permanent law at it's completion served a people well, and was adequate to supply their needs, and it was grounded on the Bible, the Written Word of God. If the Founders were to come back right now, the would be wondering at the sight of such moral chaos and turmoil, "Where on earth is our Constitution???", "Why aren't the people adhering to it??" Yes, If only they (Our Founders) could see the injustice that the Democratic party has wrought on our blessed land! They would find classrooms filled with students learning how to perform sexual acts by their teachers, instead of God's Word. Completely ruining them, alienating them from their hope, the hope of this nation. They would find doctors performing an act of murder, taking little children from their mothers womb, crushing their little heads with a pair of steel forceps, and outside, a raging furnace their fragile little bodies are disposed of! God, help these folks, for they are in need of Your touch to their severely depraved mind and spirit!

To take the extreme left-wing ideology a bit further concerning the moral/social structure, the one vital area key to the family unit, is the marriage unit. Every Democratic Senator has taken the extreme left-wing libral ideology that marriage "should" be "re-defined" to include the false and radical autonomy of same-sex marriage.

Well, there you have the three main things affecting our nation morally and economically as a result of the Democratic side of the issues. Let us now take a look at the Republican/Conservative side of the issues, and how they may affectively implemented.

How do Sen. McCain and Sarah Palin stack up in the spectacle? As you will soon see, it is a whole lot simpler as those of us who know the system can testify to the overall conjectures that come out of the Democratic side, in contrast, their is no comparison, as the Conservative position or philosophy will put us on the road to true hope.

As far as experience is concerned, and as I noted way back at the beginning of the year when Hillary was still in the race, and is the same question that I will pose before you now - Choose between Hillary and Barack, who would you prefer to get the nomination? Hillary, who's been through the political process, or Barack, who has had little or no experience in the realm of dealing with policy making? It's a real simple question, and regardless of the fact that both are one and the same on the same destructive path in total rejection of reality; one has been around a while, has a few tricks up their sleeve and knows the political process well, and as for the other one...they don't and can't, until they've been through the process through and through. The same holds true for this election between the opposing contenders. So, I'm going to ask the question like this...

You have John McCain, who's been in it for 27 years, he has the right policies in mind for the American people militarily, economically, and most of all morally. Whereas, Barack Obama has had only 3 years of experience has voted very little and for the most part wasn't present during the creation of law, during most of his career as a Senator, if you can call him one (lol), yet, he holds this extreme left-wing ideology of socialism, and still lead with no experience .... Really?

So, who is it going to be? McCain with years of experience and a proven record, or Barack Obama who has no experience and a proven record of socialism by a few votes?

Conservative economics tell us that taxes should be lowered, and programs that waste your money should be ended, therefore, putting more money back into the hands that created it, and less into the pockets of those who would spend it otherwise, carelessly, and could go to programs already in existence that are necessary to the upbringing of children, teacher initiatives, and vouchers, an integral part of our future, so they can be prepared for the challenges that lay ahead.

On foreign policy, John McCain would lead us to necessary victories against our enemies abroad, no doubt, he understands the challenges we face in the fight against Al Qaeda and the Taliban, as he withstood and watched from enemy battle lines watching innocent men, women, and children being slain for naught. Even as he, himself, endured the enemies brutal tactics of torture for 5 long years. Tell me this doesn't take a man with a true sense of courage...The safety of the American people will be top priorty under John McCain's plan. Make no mistake about it, Mr. McCain is who we define to be a true American and Patriot, to sacrifice all for all, and then return to continue sacrificing his time and talents to serving the people as a Senator. I say, Thank You! Mr. McCain and hopefully many more to come after November 4th. We must win!

Socially and morally, Mr. McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin are strong defenders of life in the womb, and for ending/over-turning Harry Blackmun's dark decision made in 1973, Roe v. Wade. Understanding fully that life begins at the moment of conception.

Mr. McCain and Ms. Palin will appoint judges who will uphold the standards set by our Founding Fathers in the Constitution, that marriage is defined between One man and One woman for life.

There you have it. The stakes are high, and too much is to lose to squander it all. So, to all, and for the sake of all, I beg of you ... Please do not waste this great opportunity to preserve what is left of our nation, America. The price that we would pay is unimaginable for making the mistake of voting into office a young, inexperienced, Socialist minded Democrat like Barack Obama into office.

Please vote for John McCain Nov. 4th. Do you level best to help others understand the dire necessity of voting this year, which, I believe is the most important in our Nation as a history with Terrorism on the horizon, and our schools being infiltrated with the destructive poison that is Darwinism.

God bless you all, and God bless America!

McCain Picks Sarah Palin Gov. of Alaska as His Running Mate

Congratulations! To Governor of Alaska, Ms. Sarah Palin.

I am so thankful and feel very much blessed with Sen. McCain's choice in picking Ms. Palin as his running mate, she is on the right side of the issues, while Mike Huckabee would have been a very good choice, and is who I was hoping it would be, Ms. Palin is equal or better. The first thing about Ms. Palin, is she's intelligent, you can tell from just listening to her today in her speech in Ohio. The most important thing about her though, and is what makes her intelligence shine through the most ... she's on the right side of the moral issues facing this country, and to better term that, she knows and understands reality, she understands that if we do not uphold tradiional morality in this country that we will ultimately fail as a Nation. So, it's critical that we uphold the moral ideals that were the foundation that our Founding Fathers laid for future generations, and is the reason we should support her and Senator McCain this coming November 4.

I'm sure that Gov. Palin will do good things for the country, as she's young and will have the necessary energy to help put the country on the right track by giving added wisdom and incite to John McCain's administration to make for a real team defending America and our traditional standing in the world. Of course, there will be the critics, but we know that the opposition doesn't live in reality, and it is exposed for what it is, and the opposition is marginalized in the face of truth, as the truth will always stand bold and unflinching!

Feel free to discuss this and many more topics on this election news...

God bless!

Clark Won't Apologize

Wesley Clark, I believe fully, is another viper.

I wonder what would possess a man, a Veteran, to criticize a comrade Veteran, of course, I suppose you could say that Sen. McCain is Mr. Clark's good friend, but I don't think we can say Mr. Clark feels the same toward Sen. McCain who has endured much for our sake.

Here is one of Mr. Clark's comments regarding Sen. McCain service and qualifications for President...

"I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president,"

When asked if he would rescind, or apologize for the comments, here's what he had to say...

"I'm very sorry that this has distracted from the message of patriotism that Sen. Obama wants to put out."

In my opinion, his answer pretty much sums up the teetotality of the morale of the Democratic party - It's all about Hate, they do not wish to be united as a country.

As an aside, I think a good ol' hefty dose of ex-lax would do Mr. Clark some good.

And as for Obama? Well, let's just say...he is making himself and his party the laughing stock of the day. In all honesty, people, listen, Obama really cares less about what others who follow him are trying to do to those around him, because all he's interested in is his chance to implement his socialist agenda, and then tell us the glib notion of how "good-hearted" he is.

Don't be fooled!

McCain Needs to Stand Up For His Faith In God

As one reporter notes:
"We live with a mandate to preach the gospel, to unashamedly testify what Christ has done in our lives, to generously share that information with others," says Schenck. "... And John McCain has yet to give that kind of public testimony, and it's undermining the confidence of evangelicals in John McCain."

...And I agree! As I mentioned in the last thread concerning war, if we are to defend ourselves against oppression and tyranny, we must draw our Nation together as One in Christ Jesus ... and when God sees that we are trying to serve Him, He will give us the victory over our enemies.

Friends, we have no power over the enemy in ourselves, we must rely on God, we must.

Evangelical Movement Still Profoundly Influential On Public Policy

A contingent of prominent evangelical political activists has debated the future of the evangelical Christian movement and its role in American politics during a panel discussion that took place yesterday in Washington, DC.

Named after a new book written by Family Research Council president Tony Perkins and Bishop Harry Jackson of the High Impact Leadership Coalition, the debate -- called "Personal Faith, Public Policy" -- took place at the National Press Club and was standing room only.

During the debate, Perkins told the crowd that conservative evangelicals are still having a "pronounced" impact on the shaping of American public policy. He argued Senator John McCain's (R-Arizona) rise to Republican presidential nominee does not indicate the religious right is dying. "I would suggest to you the fact that we have a McCain candidacy shows that the evangelicals remain strong and it's not a Rudy Giuliani candidacy," he insisted.

As Mr. Perkins has alluded to the fact that Senator McCain received the popular majority vote for POTUS, I'm not so sure though, that I can be as optimistic as he, and assume that Sen. McCain's candidacy proves we are as strong and influential... as we 'could be.'

We have some major moral problems going on right now in America, and I would suggest that as evangelicals and all denominations or non-denominational (it doesn't matter You believe in God's One and Only Son who died at Calvary, you're a member of the Saints) could do more; and the reason I say this, is there are many who proclaim to be "Christians" but they fail to live up to their potential in their witnessing capabilities. There are many areas where parenting Christians could take the time out of their "busy" schedules to meet with other parents at PTA meetings at their childrens school, where they could speak out for the Lord. To make a better influence we have to become active participants in public policy, on all levels, but especially where our children's future is being shaped at the State run level - and as we all know (at least those of us who aren't blinded by the lefist rhetoric), know that our State run public school systems are heavily influenced by the hate America first crowd - The ACLU Left-wing of Congress, which is the reason for heavy Leftists indoctrination and in turn, rising STDs to epidemic levels, which directly links back to the Radical Feminist agenda.

Overall, I agree with Mr. Perkins to the extent that Conservatives have shown Mr. McCain support so far as he is no "Rudy Giuliani," and certainly far, Far better than Barack Obama who has been endorsed recently by two Communists - Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Lewis Farrakhan.

However, I think McCain has shown some inconsistency on life and moral issues during his terms as Senator, some very important things he has supported in the past I've not been in full agreement with...and, we must remember, that 30-50% of the evangelical vote went to, which, in my opinion, the more capable of the two, Mike Huckabee, who has been consistent throughout his political career on the Life and Moral issues.

I think the two main things that gave McCain the boost among the majority of Conservatives; is his stance on Economic and National Security issues, the economy taking precedence over the two, which shows that the priorities of Americans are in their pockets and not in their hearts...I don't want to be too "pessimistic" here, but that's the way it would seem to me at least. This raises a lot of questions after today's vote in both houses to raise taxes after President Bush leaves office.

In the long run, however, I believe our Supreme Courts will be the greatest factor, our greatest need, to help promote morality, an avenue for Evangelical Conservatives.

If we can finalize a fully Conservative Court; that is if we have a President McCain, and we pray that we do, then great things can happen...in other words, there will be hope for America! So, do all you can to get the word out, and most importantly...Pray for America!

God bless!

Bill Kristol: Celebrating the Demise?

My good friend and co-blogger Mark Noonan at Blogs for Victory cited an article in which Bill Kristol extolled the virtues of a McCain candidacy:

Here’s the good news–and it’s really quite good. A reasonably conservative presidential candidate, leading a reasonably conservative party, has a good chance to win the general election. With a difficult task ahead of it–holding on to the White House for a third term, and in this case for the sixth out of the last eight–the GOP has lucked into having as its nominee John McCain, one of the most popular politicians in America.

What’s more, conservatism as a set of ideas is in pretty good shape. “Neoconservative” thinking on America’s place in the world has beaten back attempts to revive the crabbed “realism” of some congressional Republicans in the 1990sas a plausible approach for dealing with the world of the 21st century. And there is a resurgence of creative thinking on domestic policy, reminiscent of the neoconservatism of an earlier generation. Younger conservatives are displaying a welcome heterodoxy in their approach to health care, taxes, and family policy issues…

…Conservatives, in short, are adjusting to the times. This is a good thing, and is one of the neglected lessons of Ronald Reagan’s success: Reagan’s 1980 platform differed from Barry Goldwater’s in 1964. Consider further that 2008 is as far removed from 1980, as 1960 was from 1932. Movement liberalism in 1960 yearned for a purer, more orthodox FDR-style liberal than John F. Kennedy. Eleanor Roosevelt was appalled that the old guard had to give way. But it was surely better for liberals and liberalism that JFK called for a New Frontier rather than an extension of the New Deal.

What really caught my eye in the Kristol piece was this passage, to reiterate:

“Neoconservative” thinking on America’s place in the world has beaten back attempts to revive the crabbed “realism” of some congressional Republicans in the 1990s [READ: Contract With America --ed.] as a plausible approach for dealing with the world of the 21st century [READ: Conservatism is passe and unworkable--ed]. And there is a resurgence of creative thinking on domestic policy, reminiscent of the neoconservatism of an earlier generation. Younger conservatives are displaying a welcome heterodoxy in their approach to health care, taxes, and family policy issues…
And each “give” on the conservative side is yet another incremental move toward all-out socialism and loss of personal and economic liberties.

I don’t know why Bill Kristol is celebrating. "Heterodoxy," of course, referring to the ever-creeping spectre of socialism-as-good-in-small- though-ever-increasing-doses into the mainstream of the American psyche.

Incrementalism, my dear readers. Incrementalism.

There is nothing, I repeat nothing that liberalism has to offer that is in any way compassionate. Even in small doses.

A slow, yet insidiously-increasing demand for servitude to the State in a free society is not compassionate. Nor is it anything to celebrate.

This is the time for movement conservatives to stand up for conservative principles, and demand that candidates adhere to them, or conservatism, like classical liberalism, is doomed to the ash-heap of “good ideas” that were compromised in the name of expediency.

Politicians who pine for the support of the Republican Party should be required to earn that support, not expect it. The time to fight for what we believe, is now.

No Vote!

Well, it looks like one voter's going to sit it out, this year, folks. As I'm sure many more will, and Dr. James Dobson is one of them.

I have decided in a motion, for the best interests of my party to not cast my ballot this fall. In consideration of the current crop of candidates and their records in many more ways than one as unsupportive of Traditional Conservative values; I cannot go against the principles as are customary and true to the Christian Conservative base of the Republican party. Many people have said they are willing to compromise, and move toward McCain because he is the lesser of two evils. Compromise is good when you've got good candidates on the ballot, but not good at all when a larger percentage of the the voter block, favors a candidate whom injects across party lines, corrupt and anti-moral, anti-life agendas into the fold. God would not be pleased with me if I were to go against what He teaches me I ought to do.

I know, I know, I've said that McCain is the best we've got, if he's the only one left in the race, but the more I find about him, the more I dislike his character and agenda. I was one step away from voting for the man just a few days ago, but now that I know what he stands for...there's just absolutely no way. I'll just wait until someone of more promise steps up to the plate.

There's still a chance that things could change in the next month, and governor Huckabee could pull some support, and if he does, however unlikely that is, but if he does, then my ballot will go henceforth accordingly.

America's in a fix, folks. If there was some way that I could get Huckabee the nomination, I would, but with the odds stacked against you in the millions of percentages, there's not much you can do...except pray, that's what I intend to do, and that's what I encourage all of you to do, too.

God bless!

McCain Keeping Faith on Own Terms

New York -
John McCain does not believe in destiny. God, he says, gives us life, shows us how to use it, and leaves it to us to carry out as we choose.

I take particular issue with McCain's presumptuousness that, even though God gives us life, and shows us how to use it, that we can carry it out as we choose. In other words, McCain doesn't believe in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, God's One and Only Son, who died to set us free. He believes in as a larger percentage do, that we can ask for forgiveness and then go on living how we want too. I disagree. Totally.
McCain proves this through his agenda. Which you can read in former posts that I've written...and is why, Dr. Dobson has refused to endorse him, and will likewise choose not to vote for him.

God gives us life, but that doesn't mean we are free to use it, to do to others as we please - if that use of our life goes into conflict with God's Law, then He says it is sin, and therefore, is unacceptable in His sight.

In other words, the senior senator from Arizona does not believe that in surviving the ordeal of 5-1/2 years as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam, including torture and extended periods of isolation, he has somehow been tapped by God to become the next president of the United States.

Being a prisoner of war and living to tell about it, was God's way of giving Mr. McCain a chance to draw closer to Him, and use His life-story as a witness for the uplifting of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and how God's grace is sufficient to set the captives free. Has Mr. McCain chosen God's Will over his own? Apparently not, or he would have came out a much more grateful person, for the sacrifice he gave for this country. Instead, he has used it to lift himself up in a prideful manner, and hardening his heart, much like Pharoah.

But Senator McCain, now in the thick of his second run for the Republican presidential nomination, does believe that he is still alive for a purpose.

God can still use McCain, if he'll let Him ... If not? Then it will come to no avail...and you have to remember, even though people refuse to uplift God, God still gets all the glory...by whichever means He chooses.

"There is no logical reason for me to be on earth, if you look at my life, so I should spend this time trying to serve a cause greater than myself," says McCain in a Monitor interview.

In order to serve appropriately, the service must come from the Throne of Grace, boldly proclaiming it all the way. That's the only way we can serve a cause greater than ourselves!

How his Presidency turns out is anyone's guess, but given the reality of things, will ultimately be decided upon by which way he chooses to govern his opportunities as President - His or God's ways...

Can McCain Seal The Deal?

As I was coming driving home today I was listening to the radio on a gospel station and a news break came as I was about half away home saying that Mitt Romney was stepping aside, Mr. Romney said, and I quote, "due to this time of war, and with a democratic majority, we would get attacked, so I must step aside, for the interest of my country, and my party." Well, if Mitt were concerned for his country, and his party, he wouldn't have quit, he would press on to the finish line. He also said this, "This has never been about me, and it's not about me." No! Mitt, it's not about you, it IS about America! Oh well, I digress, it only shows what his interests truly were from the start - from his pocket (in gobs I might add); and in lip service. Too, the bulk of his messages were in the form of attack ads on his opponents. If he would have spent less time attacking, and spent less money, and proved to the American people that he was sincere in what he believed, and what he would do for America from the heart, then he would have fared much better, I firmly believe. Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Romney just gave the nomination to his rival, about 3/4s Liberal, John McCain.

Another unfortunate reality of all this, is the fact that - money talks (Nowadays anyway), when it's helping the individual whom is looking for the subsidiary affect that it brings, but if your going to win hearts and minds, it's better to leave the money-changing on idle.

As one might imagine, this must have been quite a relief for John McCain, but he got mixed reactions in today's CPAC conference, he received cheers for his war strategies, and booes on his immigration reform record. This proves that Mr. McCain has a long way to go in order to prove to Conservatives that he will adhere to 'True Conservative principles.' In the long run, the trust that Mr. McCain instills voters with, will be the ultimate deciding factor in how the country moves forward toward a more Civil Union, should he become our next President. I think also, if he's not going to drill here, to become more energy independent, then I don' think he will fare good at all with the Conservative side, and this is one of the fundamental differences in he and his current rival, Mike Huckabee, Mike Hucakbee's agenda specifically includes becoming energy independent, and discontinue the funding of Saudi energy regimes. The Rule of Justice will also be a major issue bearing down on the next administrations shoulders, in this case, John McCain would be a tremendous help to the Nation.

McCain supports the following principles regarding crime:
Broaden use of the death penalty
Impose stricter penalties for violent felons
Increase spending to build more federal prisons
Impose “truth in sentencing” for violent criminals so they serve full sentences
Support programs to provide prison inmates with vocational and job-related skills and job-placement assistance when released.
Support programs to provide prison inmates with drug and alcohol addiction treatment.

I agree with him on all of what he supports, except the third one, I don't agree that we should increase spending for more federal prisons, we have enough prisons, and have spent too much on them already. If he will madate the death penalty, then spaces will be made to allow more prisoners until their sentencing. In that area, we will have a man who will not stand for criminal behavior, and for that, I am thankful, and applaude Senator McCain. However, he HAS to come out a clear defender of Life in the womb, because Murder is the same for unborn children as it is for adults. There's no difference. Abortion is largely due to one underlying factor -Leeching off of our government and the American taxpayers. Which is another major problem that needs fixing in this country. Cut back on entitlement programs, and you can literally cut spending in half. To do this would be adhering to 'True Conservative' principles.

Infrastucture is another large spending area. I've been all over the country in the last few years, and the bridges, buildings, and roadways are the finest you can have. Why? It's because our State representatives keep forking the dollars over to support their names. We must encourag our Senators to be less anxious in throwing good money away.

So, my fellow Conservatives, can McCain appeal, and seal the deal? Ooooor, maybe it would be better said, will he make an effort to appeal to us? Still further, would his appeal come through true, as it would translate if he in fact, becomes POTUS?

McCain Not Tipping The Scales; Not Even Barely

McCain came out the clear winner in yesterday's (Super Tuesday) voter block of the Republican party. Overall, however, he's not garnering enough support at this present time to put the Republican ticket over the top. Wonder why? Well, quite simply, and for good reason, the Conservative base doesn't favor McCain because of his quasi-Conservative position on the issues. McCain wants to cut government spending, yet he wants to continue spending programs that are still government funded. In particularly, on the environment. Several billion, maybe trillions of dollars go into environment alone. Some, so-called "Conservatives," have said that McCain's past is "not an issue now." Well, there's also a saying that goes, 'Those who forget their past, are doomed to repeat it.' or continue down the same path into the gutter. McCain's past may not be that big of an issue now, but I refuse to concede in any such manner thereof, because we're talking about the future of the United States, when his decisions WILL be an issue. America is on the brink of virtual moral chaos. Therefore, we need someone who will come forth with a straightforward, clear choice on where they stand in this election.

So, what does McCain need to do to get the nomination?

First and foremost, he needs to be 110% supporting Life in the womb.

In 1999 Senator McCain said this - In the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade, which would then force X number of women in American to undergo illegal and dangerous operations."

You have to keep in mind, nine years is not that long of a time period, since he took that position. So, given his position then, it's likely, that even though he would most likely appoint Judges to the bench who would craft a Ban on Abortion, given his position then, which probably isn't any different today, that if that ban reaches his desk he will not sign it. The reason I say this, is because of his next statement - question and answer in the debates...

Would you expand federal funding of embryonic stem cell research?
A: I believe that we need to fund this. This is a tough issue for those of us in the pro-life community. I would remind you that these stem cells are either going to be discarded or perpetually frozen. We need to do what we can to relieve human suffering. It's a tough issue. I support federal funding.
Again, another big, government funded project, one that supports Murder.

As you may notice, unlike President Bush, Senator McCain isn't willing to come forth in full support of Life. Make no mistake, you can't have it both ways, you can't say this - “I’d like to have less intensity on this issue.” Then turn right around and support embryonic stem cell research, which requires the taking of a human life. There's no second guessing, if you want the Lord to be proud of you, then you've got to prove it to Him, not just through words and gestures, but through deeds. We are directly responsible to God for the Life that he has so graciously blessed us with, and He expects that we treat others with that same appreciation, dignity, honor, and respect.

Another interesting stance Senator McCain takes, again, another very Liberal issue, as most residents of Massachusett's are aware of, is the issue of Marriage. Only one time, during the '06 decision to ban or prohibit same-sex marriage, to my recollection, did John McCain vote for it, the other 95% he voted to allow it. In regards to homosexuals in the military, McCain said this - Don't ask, don't tell is working; don't tamper with it. You might remember where don't ask, dont tell came from. Yep, you guessed it, William Jefferson Clinton, or as he's better known now, Slick Willy.

This is what Senator McCain said about Republicans regarding a ban on same-sex marriage - Ban on same-sex marriage is unRepublican; leave it to states.

Say that again? unRepublican?!?!? I don't know who you mean Mr. McCain, by Republicans as being "unRepublican," but it sure isn't the Born-Again Believers in this country, that are Conservatives. I can tell you that much, for a fact. Family is the unifying issue that strengthens America. Let's not throw America to the dogs of society, by redefining marriage down into the muck-pit of the world.

These are the reasons I don't trust Senator McCain, folks, and if you can't trust someone, mainly, because of the simple reason that they don't want to stand up for God-fearing values, and they wind up being the "decider," then we're in trouble.

Now, whoever you are out there, and you are reading this, I don't know where you stand on the issues, but if you're a Christian Conservative, then you're likely to be just as disappointed as I am about the turn of events unfolding. The vast majority of you, however, have shown that you favor McCain over any of the rest of the candidates, given this, you are the moderate to Liberal Republican. Not much of a surprise, consdering where McCain stands on the Social issues. Not good news for the overal GOP turnout, though, but I may be wrong...At any rate, the way I see it, if you've got two Liberals running against each other, one from the GOP, one from the Democratic side, then voters will most likely say, "Who is more Liberal?," and thus, likely go with the Democrat contender.

If this trend holds, and I'm right, then it will prove how much Liberalism has really damaged our colleges and universities, and America will be totally defamed.

Wait ... there's hope, McCain gets the nomination, and he will listen to the Conservative base on the social issues? Then we're in the clear! A Huckabee win would be phenomenal, and one that I would rather see. Why? Because he's not a Romney phoney, and he's not a "somethin' smells fishy" McCain, either. Mike is a genuine, and trustworthy man of his word.

Your thoughts...

How Conservative is McCain?

So far, we've got John McCain in the lead for the GOP at this point in time, however, seems like the odds were turned against him in last night's debate, because of the stance he takes on taxes, he says he wants to make it a "class warfare" stance in favor of the rich elite! WOW! Can you say, "Liberal," ladies and gents?
On illegal immigration, his was pro-amnesty, and allowing our borders to be flooded with the millions upon millions who are already here illegaly and subjecting our children to the already enormous damage that has been done. He is also against interrogation, and getting the information we need to ensure that justice is served before our enemies get another chance to attack the Homeland. On his good points - he's pro-life - by protecting the innocent life in the womb. He has a very strong record of acheivment within the military field, in which he could mount a good offensive strategy in the War on Terror. Those are the only two good points about him, really. Other than that, I really don't know what all else to say about the man, except that he's a Liberal. He can't really be classified as a Liberal Conservative, because then that wouldn't make it a fair statement. This all really gave me an idea just a bit ago when I thought it through, after hearing what Dick Morris had to say about this election cycle. Of course, I had it a little differently other than the fact that he stated the obvious, when he said, "the GOP is in division right now, due to some folks who have made bad names for themselves while still under the name tag of "Republican/Conservative." They aren't republican if that's what they stand for. We can see that the overall electorate is moving left, because people are voting for John McCain, while John isn't entirely "Liberal," he still has some Conservative qualities in him on the side of life. Life is a very big issue, make no mistake about it, but when combined with three-hundred million people, and the vast majority of those three-hundred million people trying to make a living for themselves and their families, the last thing we need is a Liberal to take over the White House. I had first thought after a considerable contemplation of the matter, that Mr. McCain would make a good choice as last resort, but upon further review of his policies, I don't think I want him as our President, he would be kind of dangerous in a way, in a way much the same as Hillary or any of the Democrats would be. We still have a ways to go yet though, with Super Tuesday just five days away, there are a lot of delegates to be taken still, and a lot of support for each individual candidate will be garnered from their respective state sponsors, as I'm sure McCain will take many Liberal Western states, while Mike Huckabee (whom I am hoping very much will win) will take a few of the mid-western, and southern bible-belt regions of the South, Mitt Romney will take a few eastern, mid-western, and northeastern states. It's anyone's guess from now until Tuesday, but I think it goes well beyond next Tuesday, I think Mike Huckabee will iron things out for the betterment of America in the weeks ahead -While he's at it, give him some support, donate a little bit to his campaign...Mr. Huckabee is a great Christian man, who would bring America back together again, and would be twiced as much better than anybody on the Democrat side.

Who would you like to see as our next President?

Feel free to share your opinions on what you think will happen in the upcoming weeks and months ahead...Come on Conservatives, I know you're out there, speak out!!

We welcome your knowledge here at CU!
