Feel free to share your thoughts on whether or not you feel it would be in Israel's best wishes to do so, or whether we (America) should do so.
Iran recently made new threats against America, and Israel.
Is Obama prepared to take appropriate action in order to defend our homeland, and our friend and ally in Israel?

Sarkozy Turns "anti-Obama"
I found this interesting bit of info over at Real Clear Politics:
The contempt with which the president of France regards the president of the United States was displayed in public last week.
Nicolas Sarkozy was furious with Barack Obama for his adolescent warbling about a world without nuclear weapons at a meeting Mr. Obama chaired of the United Nations Security Council last Thursday (9/24).
"We must never stop until we see the day when nuclear arms have been banished from the face of the earth," President Obama said.

So, Obama is finding himself being increasingly dishonored by the leaders of other countries. Is this any surprise at all? He wants to disarm us of the only arsenal of defense that we have at our disposal, when there are nations out there who have rogue leaders, namely North Korea and Iran, North Korea being one who keeps testing nuclear missiles to see if they will reach the Americas, and he wants to cut funding to our defense systems?
Sounds to me like Mr. Sarkozy, instead of being called "anti-Obama" would be better translated as more "pro-America," in that respect. Of course, he's probably looking out for his own country, France, just as much as he is America.
If anything, if Mr. Obama were concerned about disarmament of nations with nuclear weaponry, he should seek first to eliminate them from those countries who have rogue leaders like Iran and North Korea, who hate America. Yet, he not only apologizes for America, and spits in the face of every Veteran and every active duty man and woman in uniform. Just what kind of "leader" is Mr. Obama?
Friends, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see what Mr. Obama is doing to this nation and its image around the world.
So, what will it take to wake you up, America? Are you willing to sit back this coming election and allow this administration to destroy this nation from within and rob our men and women in uniform, who protect his freedom to spout insanities all day long, of their honor?
Think about it!
God bless you, and thank you for reading!

Another Attempt By ACLU To Hand America's Freedom To The Enemy
Something all Americans should remember - September 11, 2001 ... at approximately 8:45 AM on that morning ... two planes were hijacked by terrorists ... were driven into two of the largest towers in New York City - The World Trade Center.
Before the planes struck:

The moment the planes struck:

After the planes struck:

Shortly after these brutal attacks, Security measures were taken to monitor phone calls coming in by suspected terrorists. A very worthy cause in my opinion, one that calls for every American's support.
This is what we get in return guised as true "Patriotism"...
How's THAT for "patriotism"...???
How soon we forget, ladies and gentlemen ... or maybe ... just don't care.
It's really bizarre, how we can have a group in America that is supposedly fighting for the rights and safety of Americans and then they fight instead, on behalf of the terrorists. It is treason, folks, and the ACLU should not be representing anyone, they are the most anti-American organization in this country.
Thank goodness, the Courts made the right decision today, and denied the ACLU Leftwing the right to put America at risk again!
Never forget the great words of Ronald Reagan said, and whom I respect and admire very much: 'Freedom is never more than a generation away, it must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or we just might be spending our sunset years telling our granchildren what it was once like to be free in America.'
God bless America!

The ACLU sued on behalf of itself, other lawyers, reporters and scholars, arguing that the program was illegal and that they had been forced to alter how they communicate with foreigners who were likely to have been targets of the wiretapping.

The Problem with the Middle East
Today's assassination of Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto shocked the world, as it should. That violence is seen by many in that part of the world as the proper method of dealing with disagreements is disheartening, to say the least.Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee observed, rightly, that in The United States we vote “not with bullets but with ballots.” We don't use anti-social means, including wanton violence to get our way, rather we participate within the system and make our voices heard at the ballot box. Another opportunity to do just that will take place in just less than a year from now.
With that in mind, I read a rather disturbing comment that was made by an Israeli journalist for Ha'aretz. Correction, it was the editor-in-chief of the influential paper. And the attitude he reveals in his statement is most alarming:
The editor in chief of Israel's Ha'aretz newspaper, David Landau, confirmed yesterday that he has pleaded with Secretary of State Rice to "rape" Israel and its neighbors into resolving their problems.Even our closest ally in the region, Israel, is not immune from the effects on the human psyche of the Middle East's culture of violence. And it is this attitude, an embrace of senseless violence and violent rhetoric, that will lead its people to culturecide.
"'Rape' is a word in the English language," Mr. Landau told The New York Sun yesterday as he reconstructed the event. He said several people, "from the right and from the left," spoke at the dinner, and that when his turn came, he said, "Israel, after 40 years of failing to resolve its problem of occupation," needed a push from America. "Rape it into resolving the problem," he told Ms. Rice.Mr. Landau may find himself disappointed that America has no interest in raping anyone, least of all our staunch friend and ally, Israel. There may be such a thing as tough love, but rape is most assuredly not a part of that.
Assassination, homicide bombing, terrorism, genocide, torture, rape and many other atrocious inhuman activities are acts of violence for its own sake. It is certainly not what G-d commands us to do. Even agnostics and atheists would have to agree -- there's nothing noble about using violence for the sake of violence.America cannot be willing to go down that road, ever. We've seen where that road leads, and the world has an painful open sore that expresses the end result starkly: the Middle East.
America will rape no nation, even if invited. We are Americans. The United States is the shining beacon of liberty, a shining city on the hill, for all the world to behold. We will not stoop to the behavior of those we fight. We will instead lead by example. We want them to emulate us, not the other way around.
I hope none of what I have said here is controversial. It should not be.
