No Vote!
Well, it looks like one voter's going to sit it out, this year, folks. As I'm sure many more will, and Dr. James Dobson is one of them.
I have decided in a motion, for the best interests of my party to not cast my ballot this fall. In consideration of the current crop of candidates and their records in many more ways than one as unsupportive of Traditional Conservative values; I cannot go against the principles as are customary and true to the Christian Conservative base of the Republican party. Many people have said they are willing to compromise, and move toward McCain because he is the lesser of two evils. Compromise is good when you've got good candidates on the ballot, but not good at all when a larger percentage of the the voter block, favors a candidate whom injects across party lines, corrupt and anti-moral, anti-life agendas into the fold. God would not be pleased with me if I were to go against what He teaches me I ought to do.
I know, I know, I've said that McCain is the best we've got, if he's the only one left in the race, but the more I find about him, the more I dislike his character and agenda. I was one step away from voting for the man just a few days ago, but now that I know what he stands for...there's just absolutely no way. I'll just wait until someone of more promise steps up to the plate.
There's still a chance that things could change in the next month, and governor Huckabee could pull some support, and if he does, however unlikely that is, but if he does, then my ballot will go henceforth accordingly.
America's in a fix, folks. If there was some way that I could get Huckabee the nomination, I would, but with the odds stacked against you in the millions of percentages, there's not much you can do...except pray, that's what I intend to do, and that's what I encourage all of you to do, too.
God bless!

James Dobson, one of the nation's most prominent evangelical Christian leaders, is about to endorse former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, The Associated Press has learned.
Dobson, founder of Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Focus on the Family, talked to the GOP presidential hopeful Thursday and later was to release a statement explaining his choice, said Gary Schneeberger, a spokesman for Dobson.

Stop Trade with China and Create Jobs
It's really disappointing when you have a family; whether it just a husband and wife, or a whole house full of dad, mom, and ten children, and you're working overtime at 50 or 60 hours a week just to make ends meet, to provide for your family. This is especially true, when the company you work for is part of the union, and the CEOs of large corporations are out-competing you at your job. With the CEOs making salaries far in excess of the regular paid workers.
This is part of the change that is going to have to take place in America in order to boost our economy as was in the days after world war II.
When people working for the unions finally get a backbone, and say, "This is it, I've had enough, I can't go from a $60,000 a year to $17,000 a year and still feed my family". That's when we can expect to start seeing a change in the number workers going up. The CEOs too, are the main reason for a lot of the increase in welfare recipients. The large corporations export much of our work, by shaking hands with, and purchasing goods from Communist countries such as China, and other countries. The return effect, is a decrease in production within America, because much of the goods we buy are produced in China. Thus, we have many, many idle hands.
If we can stop trade with China, then we can start manufacturing our own goods, and decrease much of the debt in this country; which is enormous, about 99% of all the debt we have is to China. If you go into stores like Wal-Mart and just take a look at where each item is made, you will soon find - 'made in China, made in China, made in China, made in China.' Tools, electronics, silverware, etc, etc, etc. Billions of goods made in China.
The really sad part about all this, is that the people in China who actually do the making of the goods that we buy from them, are workers who are put into prison because they are Christians or are involved in Christian activities, and thousands of these prisoners are forced to manufacture the goods that stock our shelves. There is no religious freedom in China, folks, and that isn't good. Our Leaders seem to be afraid of China because we've become dependent upon them, to the point that we would almost be "helpless" without them.
Well, I don't know about you, but if our Leaders had any conscience at all, they would stop trade with China, and make them set their people free; and not only for their people; but for the good of our own people here in America.
There's a man running for President who understands this situation, and he knows how to fix it, and that man is Mike Huckabee.

Huckabee Makes Victory in Iowa!!!
Full story here
Mike proves, just as he did as Gov. in Arkansas; that the good will of the American people is what really counts, with honesty and integrity, as opposed to buying your way into a position of power-because putting all the money you've got on the line, doesn't say much about your character and what is important for America, and the American people know that. Yes, friends, we've got an honest man in Mike Huckabee. He shows that he's willing to put behind him, and not be distracted by the rhetoric that others are trying to pin on him, and move forward to helping the American people. Who is that? You!!!
Today's crisis is not about money, that's just part of it, but the larger crisis looms over us, namely-abortion, crime, education, energy dependence, marriage, and terrorism. A Massive moral crisis, to say the least. These are the things that need to be addressed and worked on, and I believe that Mike will help bring about the change that is needed in confronting these issues, and working to resolve them.
With the New Hampshire primaries just days away, some project that Mike won't do as well there, but given the fact that much if not all of the Southern vote has yet to be retained, the Huckabee teams has a lot of promise going for him there, the Bible-belt region of South Carolina on into the mid-western States.
So, as we've prayed for Iowa's Victory, let us likewise, pray for Victory for the rest of the country.
God bless!

DES MOINES, IOWA - Convincing victories in the Iowa caucuses for Republican Mike Huckabee and Democrat Barack Obama have shaken up the race for the White House in both parties.
Amid record turnout, both men won over significant portions of Iowa caucusgoers by preaching change and presenting charismatic personas that struck voters as authentic. Mr. Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, made up for a lack of money and a small organization with the fervor of his supporters, many of them evangelical Christians like him. Mr. Obama, a first-term senator from Illinois, also enjoyed the most spirited support in his party, drawing massive crowds at rallies and reaching out successfully to young people, independents, and even some Republicans.
"Tonight we proved that American politics still is in the hands of ordinary folks like you," Huckabee said, reflecting the populist bent of his campaign.
Mike proves, just as he did as Gov. in Arkansas; that the good will of the American people is what really counts, with honesty and integrity, as opposed to buying your way into a position of power-because putting all the money you've got on the line, doesn't say much about your character and what is important for America, and the American people know that. MIKE HUCKABEE ON THE ISSUE OF EDUCATION!
How did we move in one generation from a society with a shared, confident sense of right to a society of relativism and moral decay? The first step to answering that question is to admit there isn't just one answer. I've heard that it all started when we took prayer out of schools. That's a simplistic answer. It wasn't just prayer in schools; it wasn't just TV, it wasn't just Watergate; it wasn't just welfare.
If any force is going to overcome a free, prosperous country like America, it won't happen all at once. Amreica has a solid foundation of liberty, personal dignity, and opportunity.
The only way to destroy something with that kind of foundation is to chip away at it, one value at a time. Take away its heart and essence. Bring doubt to what used to be confidence, denial to what used to be faith, death to what was life. I think that is what has happened.
Source: Character Makes a Difference, by Mike Huckabee, p.107-109 Jun 1, 2007
And of course, he's right ... the moral decay in our society is simply because God's people have sit back and allowed organizations such as the ACLU and Atheist organizations to impose their degenerative and worthless agendas on the whole of America. These orgaizations are how the core of our values have been destroyed in America, through co-ops with Activist Liberal Judges legislating from the bench within our Supreme Courts system, thus the laws (not really "laws", but merely IDEOLOGIES) mind you, that are placing the most influence upon the upbringing of our children within the school system, and thus, the STATE has in their power to prohibit your right, as you see fit, to share and express your freedom of religious expression.
What does this mean?
It means that we can no longer share that HOPE that sets us (mankind) free from the bondages of sin, with others who so desperately need it.That inspiration in their lives in order for them to experience the joy and peace of God's Love, that can only come through knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
If there's ever a gift that any Christian as a student could give a classmate and school friend for Christmas, it would be to be able to share the Greatest gift of all to mankind...The Plan of Salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord!
As we celebrate once more the gift of our Savior, and Lord willing, into the New Years, as we reflect upon the state of our country...try to search it in your heart to make a humble resolution to ask God for guidance and wisdom in your judgement to elect officials who will help to bring back God-fearing attributes to our governmental institutions, and that God will help our Leaders to govern accordingly, to His standards of Righteousness, in order that we may humbly implore His favor...
As I see it, Mike Huckabee is the person that has these attributes and qualities, I find in Mike Huckabee a man who has the God given talents of Leadership, for a betterment of American Values in looking forward to the future.
God bless!

MIKE HUCKABEE: WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD!

Why? He brings the Truth!
Washington -
"The first time Mike Huckabee walked into the Church at Rock Creek, then meeting in a storefront, he knew he'd found a church home."
"There was no lack of Southern Baptist churches for Arkansas's new governor to attend in Little Rock. But Mr. Huckabee, an ordained minister-turned-politician, liked the people he met at the fledgling church – many coming off addictions or otherwise rebuilding their lives, none wearing a suit and tie."
"This is a church that was created for the people that no one else wants," says Huckabee, in a Monitor interview. Its motto is: Taking Jesus as he is to people as they are. -- News by Christian Science Monitor.
And that's why Mike should be our 44th President, he will stand and Lead America out of the Liberalistic mayhem that has gripped this Nation for the past 40 some years.
To be precise ... he will bring Hope, the only HOPE that any Nation has, that is in Christ Jesus!!

Watch out Rudy, here comes Huck!
From this morning's latest national poll...
Now, what we're seeing here is more of the message of Mike Huckabee's Sincerety, not just what the voters want to hear, but what he believes is right in his heart ... which is what God would have one to do. Mike Huckabee isn't like Clinton... as she shifts on the changing of what voters are looking for here and she suspects/thinks voters are looking for there over at the Daily Kettle of Silliness!!!..on and on it goes.
No, Mike Huckabee sticks to what the Word of God says, and that's what people with a level head on their shoulders are looking for.
There's an interesting bit in this peice though, as Andrew Malcolm notes...
What we have to remember here, is that we're not looking at numbers that represent the vote of every single person going to the voting booth next fall on Election day. What they DO represent, is the fact that they understand that President George W. Bush has done a Grand Outstanding job of protecting the American people from Islamic Terrorism; and that they want somebody who will do the same things he's done to maintain the level of security that we have.
Listen folks, we can't thank our Honorable Commander in Chief President George W. Bush enough for His God-given talents. We should not only be grateful, but Thank God from the depths of our hearts for such a Courageous Leader! Amen? C'mon, show him some appreciatation and gratitude!!!!
Again, Mike Huckabee is a man of his word, he's not only honest, but a Brother in Christ!!
Now this peice...
It is disturbing to know that people would take Giuliani's stance on abortion so lightly, and quite possibly, Hopefully, the reason Mike Huckabee's numbers are on the rise. After the worst holocaust in World History, with nearly 50,000,000 million precious little babies mercilessly slaughtered, it's time to put a halt to these barbarians. We need somebody like Mike Huckabee as our President who will fight to protect the life of the innocent unborn, and I'm confident that Christians will see this the closer we get to Election day.
Get this, the bad news for last...
If this holds, then the people aren't as smart as I thought...
All the more reason we need Mike Huckabee as President, a man who can bring this Nation together. He's a Uniter!!!
Now, your turn ... Feel free to share your thoughts!
~ Jeremiah
A New national Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg Poll released a minute ago reveals that the Mike Huckabee phenomenon has exploded far beyond Iowa; the former Arkansas governor is now threatening the national lead of longtime Republican frontrunner Rudy Giuliani.
Among Republicans, national security is by far the top item, at 52%, with social issues second at 19% and both equally at 22%.

Interestingly, Huckabee leads Giuliani slightly, 20% to 18%, when Republicans were asked which candidate says what he believes rather than what voters want to hear. Thompson gets 15%, McCain 13% and Romney 8%.
Again, Mike Huckabee is a man of his word, he's not only honest, but a Brother in Christ!!
Now this peice...
Fifty-two percent of Republican voters say Giuliani's pro-abortion stance makes no difference to them and 73% say they don't care if Romney is a Mormon.
Results also provide bad general election news for any Republican candidate right now. Clinton beats Romney head-to-head, 47-39, and Giuliani, 46-42. Obama beats Romney 45-33 and Giuliani 44-39.
If this holds, then the people aren't as smart as I thought...
All the more reason we need Mike Huckabee as President, a man who can bring this Nation together. He's a Uniter!!!

What I Like About Mike
Mike Huckabee is a man under attack. Why? Because he's a winner. Why else? Because he's a true Christian. Why even else? Because he's a Baptist, like all good Christians are.
Some so-called conservatives claim that Mike is wrong for claiming the mantle that he so rightfully deserves: that he is the Christian candidate. If that's wrong, heck, I don't want to be right! Some of the same Huck-haters claim that Huck is only wrapping the Jesus mantle around him to make Mittens, a loud heretical Mormon and Massachusetts liberal, look bad. I really doubt that, but if so, G-d bless Huck! More power to him.
And there's several things, dear friends, that disturb me about this whisper campaign against Mike Huckabee, who may well be G-d's chosen Republican candidate. And that's his principled stance against torture.
Now I really don't know where my good friend Jeremiah stands on this issue. So I might be going out on a limb here. But a number of Huck's critics seem to be saying that Mike takes Jesus' words just a little too seriously. And that makes me really angry.
Mike is against torture. I guess that makes him a bad guy. But would Jesus say that? Not my Jesus. Mike wants Guantanamo to be closed down eventually, if the liberal media is to be believed. Is that really so wrong? I don't think so. But then, I'm a Christian. George W. Bush, our great President, also thinks Gitmo should be closed down one day. I wouldn't argue with the greatest President in modern times, would you? Well, neither would Huck.
Now I visit a lot of liberal sites, such as Balloon Juice, since I want to understand my enemy. Not fall into their secular humanist thinking, mind you. But I do want to understand where they're coming from. They're a sneaky bunch after all. And John Cole, in his own way, raised some serious concerns (strong language warning...these are liberals after all) about how Mike Huckabee's opponents are treating him. Badly. And naturally I'm also concerned about what those supposedly on my own side are thinking. Those that are bashing on Mike Huckabee are most assuredly not on my side or yours.
Mike Huckabee is a Christian in the best sense of the word. He's not a Mormon (Romney), an adulterer (Giuliani), a maverick (McCain), a lazy product of Hollyweird (Thompson), or a one note racist (Tancredo), he's a good Christian man. And I think he's on his way up. On his way up to the White House, as well as on his way up to Heaven. G-d bless you, Mike Huckabee. You're going to win Iowa. No doubt about it!
To put it simply, Mike Huckabee is Mike Huckabee. And I thank him for that. There's not much more we, as Christians, could ask for. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. And that, in short, is why I like Mike. I haven't endorsed him yet, but I'm darn close. I hope you are too.
Thanks to Jeremiah for allowing me to make this guest post. G-d bless you all.
