ACORN Qualifies for Funding in Senate Health Care Bill

Boy oh boy, exposed yet again, the corruption has no end.

"Senator Roland Burris is claiming credit for a provision in Harry Reid’s “manager’s amendment,” unveiled Saturday morning, that could funnel money to ACORN through the health care bill…

The provision he cites, found on pages 240 through 248 of the manager’s amendment, requires that six different agencies each establish an “Office of Minority Health.” The agencies are the “Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.”…

According to a Senate legislative aide, the scandal-plagued Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now could qualify for grants under this provision. ACORN would also qualify for funding on page 150 of the underlying Reid bill, which says that “community and consumer-focused nonprofit groups” may receive grants to “conduct public education activities to raise awareness of the availability of qualified health plans.”"

This is typical of communist Democrats who currently hold the reins in Congress ... the smoky, back-room deals that leads to such "reasoning."

President Obama's Judgment

President Obama is becoming famous for appointing criminals for his cabinet members, and only two weeks into his term.

Obama said this regarding his appointment of Tom Daschle as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) today in an interview with Fox News:

this is a mistake -- probably not the first one I'm going to be making in this office, but what I'm absolutely committed to doing is fixing it," he said.

Might we say ... an 'intentional' mistake, Pres. Obama?

This is why I and many other Conservatives have said, long before the election, nearly a year ago that it is critical that experience be a top priority for the job of President. It is too late to start getting experience when you're already President, now all we can do is try to reverse the impending train wreck!

With the Liberal Main-Stream-Media (M.S.M) to "cover" every detail, entirely distorting every known fact about Mr. Obama, it is no wonder that we wound up with the young and inexperienced Mr. Obama as our current Commander-in-Chief.

It would seem reasonable to think that if Tom Daschle would withdraw his appointment as one of Obama's cabinet members, that Timothy Geithner who also had a record of failure to pay taxes that he would step down from his appointment as the new U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Also included in Obama's lack of judgment for appointing people to his cabinet is Nancy Killefer, appointed as Chief Performance Officer who filed a $900 tax lien against her home for failure to pay state unemployment taxes on housing beneficiary.

Obama's lack of experience was clearly more than enough to disqualify him for the Presidency, but even more than that is his evil agenda.

So, not only will we have criminals for an administration; but a serious contention with extremely important social issues.

We cannot expect our Congress members and the people in charge to do the right thing-We (meaning those of us who still hold to the American way) will have to take it upon ourselves, to stop, any and all legislation that the current administration might try to shove through and hurt the American people and our way of life.
